“One more glass... I dare you.”
Christopher & Gianna
santoroandco
Christopher had watched from a distance as Jamie left the club with her current boyfriend. The brotherly part of him, wanted to continue to trail the two, but he knew where they were going, and he’d had the driver keep an eye on them on the way. This had been one of those evenings where the brunette had tried to ditch him, not one, but twice, so he’d finally decided to stay in the shadows. Watchful as ever, but unnoticed. That was what she wanted today, and he was nothing if not accommodating. That said, it was early in the evening, and he was nowhere near tired, so he straightened from the rails overlooking the club’s dancefloor, and took his phone out of his pocket. I’ll be home in 20, he typed in and sent the text off to Gianna. She’d know what it meant.
Exactly seventeen minutes later, Christopher entered his apartment, throwing his suit jacket over the armrest of his sofa.
Christopher & Mari

Christopher had seen Mari countless times by now. It was coming to a point where he almost looked forward to getting dragged along by his boss’ daughter. It usually meant he’d be thrown into a corner with Mari, and left to his own devices. Physically, Jamie was safe with the King brothers, so it left Christopher worry free... on that front. Even if part of him knew she was bound to end up in tears by the end of that excuse for a relationship. It wasn’t his business though, so he butted out, and stuck to Mari, who seemed to enjoy his company as much as he did hers. They both seemed to be the odd ones out. He’d spotted her again tonight, with her usual manhattan in hand. So with careful steps, he’d snuck up behind her and gently placed the tips of two fingers against her hip, leaning in to whisper a playful, “don’t scream.”
