What’s your ideal girlfriend like?
“Never really thought about that kinda thing.” He’s lying but such a private topic is none of this stranger’s business. Love is a concept Laxus isn’t able to grasp on completely and everything that manages to confuse him is a case of ‘avoid at all cost’.
Of course he has thought about being with somebody before. What would it be like? Could somebody love somebody like him, he who has committed such horrible things to his own family? Did he even know how love works? A miracle it remains, for now. Finding romantic love is not one of his top priorities but “If it happens, it happens. Ain’t any of your business anyway.”
When you think about it, shovels were truly a ground-breaking invention.
Do not fucking laugh at that. God.
"...Good one."
What’s a computer’s favorite snack during office hours? Microchips.
"How long did that one take you to come up with?"
“ what? ME have a crush on YOU? whaaaaaat?! haha! what? pfft … shut up! “ // this one was too perfect omg
"If it weren't for the fact you were trying a little too hard to convince me, I might have believed you." The mercenary replied, sounding almost disinterested in the little display the blonde was putting on. That was the thing about Rikku too, she was extremely easy to read— especially when she was lying, or trying to hide something.
Shamir stared for a minute longer, still giving Rikku that same look from earlier, before finally continuing to walk down the path— acting as if none of that had just happened for the time being. She had never been the small talk kind of person, nor the kind to openly talk about feelings on top of that. So she'd make the al bhed suffer for a while, if only to watch her squirm for her amusement.
tonberry waddles his way up close, holding up two pumpkin shaped pots filled with metallic-wrapped goodies. a jump on his tiny legs & beside him, hallow jack announces; "trick or treat?" however this is reverse; they do not /ask/ for gifts but rather.. wish to give some away. the spoiler? there are no tricks. only lovely, chocolatey, gummy sweets for all to enjoy.
The sudden appearance of the small creature hadn’t been expected, so when she heard the soft sounds of something waddling towards her Fang turned her head to stare.
It was.... adorable, by all means, and the sight brought a small smile to her face. “Well now, aren’t you a lil cutie, eh?” The huntress says, while kneeling down to be at his eye level. “You came all the way over here, so takin’ a treat is the least I could do.” Reaching a hand out, she gave the tonberry’s head an affectionate little pat, before reaching into one of the pots and taking a piece of chocolate.
"Well aren't you the cutest warrior princess I've laid eyes on~."
She just… stares. Extremely hard, for a good several minutes without saying anything. There were so many things wrong with what he had just said, that it actually rubbed her the wrong way.
“Call me cute or princess again— and you might find yourself bein’ dangled over a cliff by your tail.”
"PENNYYYYY! Merry Christmas!" Ruby bobbed up and down on her heels, presenting a small box. Inside was a silver hair clip that resembled the one she wore over her own cloak. It wasn't store bought, she'd clearly spent time making it herself. "Um. Our time in Remnant ended too soon, so I was thinking. Maybe you'd like a memento? We never exchanged anything but words back then. You could wear it in your hair! Or maybe we could get you a cape too? Hmm."
“Ruby! Merry Christmas!” Penny smiled brightly at her friend, eyes lighting up at the small box handed to her. She opened the box, staring in awe at the silver hair clip. This was only the second present she’d ever received and she hadn’t been expecting something self-made or with so much thought put into it. Truthfully, she’d been expecting nothing at all. “Oh, I love it! Thank you, friend Ruby!” She gently put it in hair, beaming proudly.
