               Several, some drawn from a more wild youth and others as they grew older. None is without some sort of symbolism, for which some they explain and others they do not. A pomegranate on their ankle, for ambition, prosperity, for knowledge. Around, going up their leg is a snake, representing both a suffocation as well as some sort of protection. A lotus on the small of their back, for fertility. The Scouting Legion wings to show devotion rests on the nape of their neck, and a caduceus on their thigh.

               Aromanticism. Zoe sits incredibly close on the line—rare found that they experience romantic attraction. It’s lacking in all honesty, and a hindrance. There’s no denial involved, but rather simply a lack of. They are certainly affectionate and love very deeply (but this is repressed as well). It’s always of a platonic nature, perhaps why their role as mother is taken so easily. But they certainly do float in the grey area. To one person they experience romantic attraction, they have in their life and likely will not experience it again. Such an occurrence borders on impossible. It’s not that it takes a particular brand of person or anything of that sort. It’s deeper, psychological. Zoe Hange does not have a ‘type’. If you showed them someone exactly the same as their object of affection, they would not budge. It’s more development through the years of interaction.

               But the love they harbor is abysmal, boundless. Swallows up them and they who find themself in its path. So oft they feel a storge towards youths, but repress it. This is close to what’s felt for the Captain, and their fellow squadleader as well. To protect. To nurture. Most comfort is found in arms, it’s found in whispering reassuring words. Growing up Zoe did not get things like ‘crushes’ and didn’t partake in dating as their peers. But they did grow flustered over simple concepts like cuddling, or holding hands. Because they are a bit shy in regards to expressing their love.

               Sexuality is different, of course. No strings have to be attached. It’s more studying, because intimacy gives the most vision unto the human psyche. To say that they dive into sexual relationships or practices without intent of gain would be false. Pansexuality describes them best in this regard—curious, always wanting to know. It proves to be a bit tricky because of a messy little thing called feelings, romantics. Because some people grow more attached than they. But now, being older, they’re a bit more careful as to where they tread to ensure there will be none of those pesky little people who bite back.

Zaza - equiv to mama/papa Auncle - aunt/uncle Sib/Sibling - sis/sister + bro/brother Datefriend - boyfriend/girlfriend Mx, Mr, or Miss all suffice.

Ma'am and Sir are both fine titles. Squadleader as well. Enby is a p good descriptor for them
