It was late, perhaps some time quite early in the morning, but it had been too dark to tell the exact time. Ford had just stepped into the shack after sneaking out at some point earlier that day. He assumed everyone else had been asleep, as they normally are when he returns this late. This was a normal occurrence, but the scientist did his best to keep his nightly outings hidden and a secret to the rest of the family. 

He had a couple scratches, and possible to-be bruises, and... wait, is that blood? Stanford took quick glance around the immediate area of the shack’s entrance to make sure no one was around, grabbing onto the straps of his travel bag over his shoulders before stepping forward. He aimed to head straight to the basement, but--

C R A S H

Just when he thought he was fine, Ford managed to trip over something left on the floor, perhaps something that belonged to his niece, and nearly caused a thud to resonate through the whole structure. Someone was bound to hear that.

I forgot to ask yesterday! Can you explain more about the TSW verse? I'm curious, but I'm not even sure I know what TSW is in the first place so . . .

[[ Sure can! TSW is short for The Secret World. It’s an MMO that I’m currently obsessed with, but I don’t think it’s all too well known. I started the AU on my personal blog a while back, and it got some attention from a part of the GF fandom, but I really didn’t go too far with it. 

Basically, I wanted this verse to work in a way that the secret societies exist in the GF universe, just a lot more undercover than they are in game. Since, well, there’s a lot of supernatural things already happening in GF, there really isn’t much of a reason to go overboard with this crossover. At least, that’s what I think. ]]
