//: Intervention --extracted snippet ( Ratchet x Polaris )
(This is extracted from my thread with Pupu, to serve as a standalone snippet that includes what’s happening during the thread but not spamming the thread itself so to speak, continues from here):
“Polaris?!” Ratchet yelled, as he ran to embrace the mech before him, whom he never thought to see again. His brother’s disappearance long forgotten, the mech kissed Ratchet ferociously and with a hunger that could only be created from two bonded sparks being apart for as long as they had. Tears were flowing freely down Ratchet’s face.
“Ratchet, my love... It’s me.” whispered Polaris, as he held Ratchet in a tight embrace in his strong arms, Ratchet sobbing freely into his wide chest, touching his frame all over, as if not believing he was there. It made sense he was, though. This was the passage to the afterspark, he had concluded, and he had already met his deceased brother. Ratchet hadn’t dared hope he could meet his Polaris, his deceased mate, as well.
“Please tell me this is real, that you’re really here!” Ratchet begged, as he lifted his gaze to meet the icy blue optics, glowing with delight of seeing Ratchet again, albeit colored with a hint of sadness. Ratchet studied his face and finally turned his gaze away, guessing what Polaris was thinking of.
“You’re early.” Polaris finally said, deciding to cut the chase. Ratchet cringed internally. His mate not only looked a lot like a much younger and shorter version of Optimus Prime, save for his plating being different shades of ice blue, icy teal, and silver, and a some of his decals here and there, but sometimes he also sounded just like him. They had been colleagues in the archives. Their personalities likewise much the same, save for Polaris being way more brash, passionate and ill-tempered than Optimus if in the right mood, and sometimes failed to really think things through before he acted, but he also had a sense of humor unlike anyone else’s Ratchet had ever met.
“I’m sorry”, was the answer Ratchet settled to, guessing Polaris had likewise seen the shameful end his love had met as had his brother.
“Not that I’m not happy to see you. By Primus, how old you look.” Polaris tried to make light of the situation in his own unique style. Ratchet gave it a short laugh. But then, Polaris’ expression sterned. ”Why?” Ratchet didn’t need to guess what he meant by it.
“Not all of us were blessed with dying young.” Ratchet stated with slight humor trying his best to sound light-hearted. He then sighed aloud. “You know, why. I missed you. I miss our son. I wanted to have a family again, but I want nobody else but you.” He reached out to Polaris, and dragged him down enough so he could start kissing him all over, Polaris returning the gesture with eager passion.
“Please, Polaris!” Ratchet sobbed as he cycled in a vent of air after breaking the kiss. “Please, take me. Take me with you. I need you! I don’t want to go back! I can’t stand being without you for a millisecond longer!” Polaris didn’t hesitate but attacked Ratchet with such passionate hunger it left Ratchet breathless. Wandering servos eventually ventured to the apex of his thighs, and Ratchet didn’t wait but opened his panels immediately as his mate rushed to pleasure him, where no-one else but Ratchet himself had touched in millennia.
Digits were soon replaced with his lover’s tender dermas which Ratchet swore had killed him if he wasn’t already dead as he pleasured his mate in turn. Eventually Polaris lifted him on his lap, kneeling, and at long last Ratchet felt his mate’s full arousal. He gently caressed the length, lifting himself up to position himself and help guide the spike home. Descending down Polaris’ frame, Ratchet finally felt the far-longed pressure of being filled as his mate continued to make passionate love to him, sealing their distance with hungry kisses that left Ratchet yearning for more.
They fell down on their side, as Polaris turned Ratchet on his back and mounted him, bringing their chests together as he continued to kiss his lover. Their chest-plates parted on their own accord, Ratchet was barely aware of his surroundings at that point. Their sparks met, merging into one with such power it felt like an explosion. Immediately Ratchet’s vision went white, and the last things he knew were feeling completed, fulfilled, surrounded in perfect love, adoration, harmony and peace. He was finally home.
