If there was a situation he would never have expected to find himself in, this was probably one of them. It was true that he had adored his childhood friend and stuck close to him when they were younger, but after drifting apart as they got older... he never would have expected that they would have ended up in a relationship.
Though even if he had never expected it, he didn’t regret it. They both had their rough edges and certainly disagreed on things, but along the way Shu had rediscovered the affection he had once held for his companion. Had refound and kindled a new love for him.
Perhaps this was not the best time to be thinking these kind of nostalgic thoughts though. Especially not with what Shu had planned for their night in. Neither of them had work the next day after all, and Kiryu had certainly been spoiling Shu with his attention... It was perhaps time for Shu to return the favor.
With the items he needed hidden under a towel on the bed, Shu looked down at his lover from where he stood, having asked the red-head to sit down at the edge of the bed. He didn’t do this often. Only when Kiryu asked it of him.
“Put your hands behind your back Kiryu.”
