Puppies in a box

@threadeddelinquent Prompt: "Vasco and Kuro taking care of a bunch of orphan puppies and/or kittens." ((I agree it would be very cute~))

Vasco was pacing back and forth as he kept his eyes down at the box that was only a meter away from his feet, the sounds of the yipping of puppies breaking his heart. He couldn’t bring in all of these puppies to take care of himself. Taking care of Hanako (his blind dog), being a student, and also working part-time was hard enough. He couldn’t possibly bring in all of these puppies as well.

Hanako would be pretty upset with him if he did. She was pretty spoiled and she enjoyed all the attention she could get, so bringing them all in would likely only upset her. Still… they were the cutest puppies though! Look at them! The puppy dog pouting! They looked like they were a mix, but they did have a lot of physical similarities to retrievers—his favorite kind of dog.

      “I want to take you all in, but I can’t.         I’m not like Jaeyeol who can take you all in.”

Still with the pacing, he was thinking about it. He knew that he could find an animal shelter but he was worried if they would be in good hands there. First thing is first, they did need something to eat right? He didn’t want to leave them alone though… what if they get into trouble in the meanwhile?

Delicate Knots

If there was a situation he would never have expected to find himself in, this was probably one of them. It was true that he had adored his childhood friend and stuck close to him when they were younger, but after drifting apart as they got older... he never would have expected that they would have ended up in a relationship.

Though even if he had never expected it, he didn’t regret it. They both had their rough edges and certainly disagreed on things, but along the way Shu had rediscovered the affection he had once held for his companion. Had refound and kindled a new love for him.

Perhaps this was not the best time to be thinking these kind of nostalgic thoughts though. Especially not with what Shu had planned for their night in. Neither of them had work the next day after all, and Kiryu had certainly been spoiling Shu with his attention... It was perhaps time for Shu to return the favor.

With the items he needed hidden under a towel on the bed, Shu looked down at his lover from where he stood, having asked the red-head to sit down at the edge of the bed. He didn’t do this often. Only when Kiryu asked it of him.

“Put your hands behind your back Kiryu.”

BEFORE MY MUSE DISAPPEARED, THEY GAVE YOURS A SERIES OF ‘OPEN WHEN’ LETTERS. SEND A SYMBOL TO READ THEM. ||Accepting|| @threadeddelinquent & @heromanvasco

Apparently Vasco had disappeared for some time and no one was really sure where he was. That guy most likely had gotten himself into trouble and got himself lost. It happens. Knowing his luck, his phone ran out of batteries so he was even more of a lost cause. 

Regardless, he just so happened to have left some letters for Kuro before he ran off to do some heroic deeds and it was now time for Kuro to open up one of the envelopes that read: 

[Read when you’re angry at the world]

Dear Kuro, 

You opened this up because you were angry at the world. I can only say this: 

Don’t become the bad guy. I don’t want to fight you. 

I’m not a real super hero of course, but that doesn’t mean that I have any less heroism than anyone else. I have to fight crime when I see it, and a friend going rogue is included in that. 

Don’t be the bad guy. You can be angry but don’t do bad things. If you are angry, remember the good things the world has to offer. It has chocolate milk, puppies, cats, and of course Super Heroes. Those are the things that I like of the world, and of course that includes you. 

Speaking of dogs, I took the liberty of adding a picture of Hanako. Isn’t she cute? I put a hood on her and it made her look like a tiger. I don’t think she liked it very much but it makes for a good picture, doesn’t it? 

I don’t know why you are upset, but I think it’s good to take a moment and remember the good things the world has to offer. If Hanako can’t help you, then I think you should go outside for a nice long run. Exercise always lifts my spirits up. I also look up pictures of Golden Retriever puppies!

Chocolate milk may help you too? I don’t know how to cheer you up and make things better since i’m probably not around if you had to open this letter but: Remember that there are many cute and fluffy things in the world. There are more puppies out there that need love. You have your good friends. You can be upset with the world, but you shouldn’t hate it because the world is what made it possible for us to be friends.

Fated Reunion

Modern w/ @threadeddelinquent

Souma had been searching for many days on how to properly approach the situation. It was after graduation, when he was entrusted to uphold Akatsuki’s reputation as one of the best units in Yumenosaki. He took the duty with honor, and would make sure his allies would be proud of his efforts. He had trained many days, endlessly to ensure the tradition was upheld to Hasumi’s standards.

He was quick to miss their time together, and wanted to remedy this as soon as possible. It took some time, but keeping in contact with them after graduation was…somewhat easy. They had their own business to attend to, but he wanted to be sure that he would not lose touch with them. After hearing of his whereabouts, Souma was quick to journey to meet him.

Once Kuro had left his current residence, he was met with a very much…very usual serious Souma. The samurai bowed his head, looking back up to stare at his former teammate. “Kiryu-dono, I have come to invite you for an adventure into town with me! Please accept my invitation, for I have missed our time together in Akatsuki.”

Night Shift

Kaoru had always been one for the night life, it was almost second nature to him by now. Owning his own bar had been one of the best decisions he had ever made. Managing the place was a little rough at first, just trying to get a handle on things. But after a couple rocky months, he had finally gotten his things in order. Now it was all about upkeep.

He had spent most of his time bartending, since it was something he genuinely worked hard at and enjoyed. Humming a bit to himself, he cleaned and straightened up the glasses that hung on the racks. However, one of the best decisions he made included hiring one of his old classmates from high school. Kuro Kiryu was a dependable guy who could get the job done. Plus, he got to work with one of his old friends.

Kaoru had spotted him walking around the place, making sure people were behaving. He usually didn’t have a problem, except for a few nights where things always got rowdy for some reason. Kuro could handle just about anything, and that gave him some relief. “Heeeeey, Kiryu-kun~, how are things going tonight? Hopefully well enough~.”

“Kuro-chin! Please punch me!” He’s staying all night just to prepare for his work, he forgot that he really needs his sleep. Now he can’t even walk straight. He is feeling so fuzzy!

“Or I’ll end up sleepin’ in class!”

“Cooking... daddy...” Vasco was recalling the connotation behind ‘Daddy’ and thought bout the word ‘cooking’ that went in front of it. “Does that mean I can’t trust your cooking? Will the ranch dressing on the salad not be dressing?”
