“I CAN’T---” Comes roaring from his lips as still he refuses to stop throwing himself around the sofa, unable to comprehend, even in the slightest, that he’d lost this match of his beloved Mortal Kombat to Mijoo... I mean yeah, she excelled in just about every single video game they’d ever played together, but deep down, Howon had a lingering belief that if there was just one or two things he could easily beat her at... then it had to be Mortal Kombat (and Pokemon--but yeah, that was a given and not exactly two player) but alas, here it comes to be that she’s superior in everything and he’s a loser. “... eh, okay... you win. I’ll consider accepting it on one condition.” A devious smirk curves up across his lips as he edges closer, chin resting against her shoulder. “you, me and the dance studio tomorrow, I got a song we should duet to...”

There's a hunger lingering on his lips, threatening to spill onto the streets as night falls; those raw slabs of hide just aren't quite cutting the flesh these days and Howon knows it. Every other human has a scent, the kind which only a wolf would be driven to extreme despair just so he could get a little bite-- "please? I need it" rolls from his lips as the hunger refuses to qwell, rising from the very depths of the darkened soul. "I can't take much more of this Mijoo, I'm so hungry... I need something filling."

But inside, the beast still grows, chewing through the ropes.

Fists clenched, pressed to his thighs as if it'd be a way to prevent himself from sprinting off to sink his canines into the nearest human; like that scene from 28 Weeks Later where the first re-infected go on rampage, a perfect mirror bloodbath could be anticipated if Howon were allowed to follow his urges. But then his eyes meet hers and a pre-emptive guilt washes over him, "Mijoo, please... I won't ask you for sympathy or your protection if something goes wrong. I just, I need your help in getting some sort of substance. Please?"

Would you come and change me? Take away everything I am.

“I know you’re sad and upset. Let me be your distraction! I want to be your distraction!”

Lips pursed tightly, holding back what threatened to spill in a shameful moment of weakness; it wasn't that he hated Mijoo seeing him like this, more that it seemed as if the most minute, meaningless discrepancies got to him moreso than things which generally mattered; always fearful of others opinions of him, Howon chose to bottle things up despite knowing fine well what the consequences were...

But just one glance up into her loving eyes and the flood gates open, palms attempting to hide his sobbing, staggered breaths, a rare show of emotion and he's a wreck in seconds. "I just-- can we just go get some air? Please? I need..." Exhaling shakily, pushing himself to stand up, Howon instantly pulls Mijoo into his arms, there's an unspoken refusal to let go for a number of moments, tears soaking into the crook of her neck as he mutters

"Please just take me away from here..."
