I just left the ones that were already here, I am too tired and lazy to think of new ones. OOPS.
1. What drew you to Tumblr Roleplaying?
It just seemed like the next logical step. I didn’t have any more active partners in any of my usual places, and I’d been sort of watching the tumblr rp scene from a distance, too afraid to join in for the longest time. I was embarrassed by the fact that so many people would be able to read what I wrote, because up until then I’d only ever written in private or semi-private settings. But there were a lot of cool people I wanted to interact with, and I really missed writing, so I just went for it.
2. Did you RP somewhere else prior to Tumblr? Where else?
Lots of places, but mostly AIM and email. When I was younger I met people in chat rooms or on ICQ (OMG, remember ICQ? Christ, I’m dating myself.)
3. What is your favorite part of RPing?
Collaborating with somebody I have chemistry with to write a good story, and getting to explore various settings and scenarios. Fulfilling fantasies and answering “what if?” questions regarding characters I enjoy.
4. What is your least favorite part of RPing?
Probably the fact people come and go constantly and I get attached so easily to a partner but they always inevitably move on to something else. <---- I’m leaving Kassie’s answer because I agree with it 100% and it is without a doubt the worst part.
5. Any former muses you miss writing?
Sure. I wrote a lot of Marvel back in the day, and I had a rather fetching Dean Winchester. I also wrote Remus Lupin a bit, and wouldn’t mind doing it again.
6. What’s your favorite thing about your muse?
Because he’s fun, and he’s dark, and he’s complicated. It’s a character with a long history, and has been written and analyzed and explained in so many different ways, that I feel like there’s a lot to explore.
7. Do you think that if you and your muse were to meet, you would get along?
8. Is there any genre or setting of Roleplay that you cannot stand?
I’ll write pretty much anything. Even if I’m not into it I’ll give it a chance to see what happens. I guess I’m not a huge fan of A/B/O, but my relationship with it isn’t active dislike. I love the animalistic aspects of it, and the heirarchy stuff, but I draw a hard line at male pregnancy. A/B/O can be really interesting and I’ve seen it written very well, I just think I haven’t had a good personal experience with it yet. I’m willing!
9. Do you ever reread threads? Which ones?
Occassionally, when I start feeling nostalgic about something or missing a partner who disappeared.
10. Is there any particular plot or dynamic which you haven’t yet had the chance to RP that you want to? What is it?
My Victorian threads keep blowing up on the launch pad, but I’ve got one or two that I think might finally make it into the air, so I’m excited for those. I’d also REALLY love to do more HDM stuff, because those threads kept dying too, and I have one left.
11. What are your favorite books?
The Hound of D’Urbervilles, the Temeraire series, Luck in the Shadows, Good Omens
