  His lips puff in playful annoyance as he regards the sketch of..well, himself as a cherub. The worst part is that it is so well done in the style that he can’t bring himself to crumple it up and fling at them so he just looks like a grown up version of the drawing trying to bite down a tantrum. The look fades though in seconds even before Amber produces the actual sketch of the design he wanted. It’s an interesting design of a stag that has more of a new art feel with its bold choice of triangle layering and shading elements. A smile takes shape on his lips and for just a few seconds the aspect of the sweet cherub is really there- a minute of Eros being truly taken with a bit of art made by another and being graced to keep it’s meaning to him private.

  “Thank you,” it’s a hush. Then he seems to fall back into his very adult self and look back up at the artist once more. “Well, I love it. When can we begin? This body isn’t marked yet and I would like to cover it with things as soon as possible.”

   It’s so soothing, Eros thinks this as his eyes threaten to drift closed again as he listens. He couldn’t give a fig about what he was being read really, the god just really enjoys hearing the sound of someone else talking when he’s tired. It makes the swarm of noise in his mind from love prayers of others ease away just a little. For a moment he tries to refocus, to pay better attention, but then his eyes slip closed again. He stays suspended in that limbo of sleep for a bit more then wakes again to try and listen once more.

   Unfortunately, it’s not really working for him. Eros’ face is slightly puffy with the need for a nap and his smile is lazy as he looks at Amber. “I care I promise, but I’m just so tired.”

  The god yawns and his golden wings stretch just a bit before folding back against him and he leans his head on his arm. “You have a very nice voice, by the way, it helps. Could you read the last thing you said again? I want to make sure I heard you.”

   He does care- a lot actually. He’s just gotten quite comfortable in his listening to them talk. With the adoration of someone who cherishes a friend, he looks to Amber now, “Do you like reading to others? I mean really?”
