How strong is Momo?

We did not get to see much from her in the final arc, which is a damn shame if you ask me. I might have a strong level of bias. Of this, I am aware.

I personally think she is very strong, although she does not know it. Thinking herself weaker than her comrades, specifically when it comes to welding Tobiume. There are moments early on in the series that show what she is capable of, and there are a few examples of where I feel that she is much stronger than she realizes. One occurs in the Zanpakuto Spirit Arc - which is not considered canon, but showcases her abilities all the same - where she easily defends against Senbonsakura using Enkōsen, a level 39 Bakudo spell.

However...the scene that exemplifies her strength most poignantly (in my opinion) is shown in the Fake Karakura Town Arc.

Momo appears on the battlefield to assist Rangiku Matsumoto, not fully healed from the injuries she sustained at the hands of Sosuke Aizen. In spite of the physical, mental, emotional wounds she bore - she was able to slip undetected by all, including Rangiku - to set a trap to lure not one, but all three opponents into it. To negate a Cero blast with a ball of fire produced in a Shikai state. All while working with impaired physical and spiritual abilities.

If that is not BAMF....I dunno what is.

You're choking on how much you have to try!!

You have tried. you have carried the weight of the world on your shoulders and accepted more responsibilities than you have ever wanted, even intended to gain. it isn't crushing - you are strong enough to hold it - but you are choking. you don't know what to do with it. you don't know where it goes, how to move this weight everyone knows you can hold onto, and do you even want to get rid of it? Never. You would not give this to - force this on - anyone else. but you /can't /. but you are choking on it. your body will hold it up even when you lose all the air in your lungs, and your footing, and your courage. it does not mind choking you. it seems almost designed to do so. if you weren't wrung out you wouldn't be doing this thing properly.

You think you're safe, don't you? You are probably the responsible one in the group, perhaps even the mom friend. You are relatively smart, but all it takes is one little thing to suck all your brain cells out. It could be hanging around your fellow stupid friends, it could be being left alone, it could be having a bit too much fun.
