Nadi sat on the couch with her children, reading a bed time story to them. It was a cute story about a narwhale. She'd found the book a few days ago at the store, and decided to read it to them. She absolutely loved her children, they were the most precious thing to her.

Aoife sat next to her sleeping friend, she looked at Nadi, smiling softly. She sometimes comes over to hang out with Nadi when Nick was away. She picked up her book and read for a bit, to pass the time.

The thunderstorm was raging outside, seemingly shaking the house. Nadi sat on the couch, holding her daughter close, comforting her. They were watching a movie when the storm hit. Suddenly all the lights went out and Roisin let out a terrified whimper, pressing closer to her mother. "Nat?" Nadi called for him.

Roisin was in her room, playing with her favorite plushie when she felt a sharp pain in her side. She hugged her bear tightly, feeling scared. She got up with her bear and ran to find her parents, with tears in her eyes.

Teren had been working at the new orleans library for a while, something she enjoyed. It was quiet, and it didn't get crowded. After work, she headed out, on the way to Sanctuary. She liked staying at Sanctuary. It was comforting to being around others who weren't human. It was one of the few places that didn't bother her that got crowded. Mainly because she knew most of the people there.

Her family had taught her how to fight, how to protect herself. But she wasn't the best at it. Just good enough to get away. That part night didn't end up being a good one. She found herself facing two daimons, they were hungry. To them she was even better than the human they were hunting. She frowned, grabbing her dagger from her bag.

Nadi sat at the bar, looking at the man who talked to her. She normally kept to herself, but he had decided to approach her. She didn't enjoy bars for this very reason. It didn't take her long before she smelt something off about her drink. He must've done something when she wasn't looking. She looked at him, eyeing him suspiciously.
