♚ ---- Two pawns, two players, two gods. Imagine a world in which somebody were gifted with the ability to rewire the devious minds of criminals by entering their psyche --- manifested as a place that is of significance to the deviant --- to root out the dark aspects of their psychological make-up, which are otherwise known as shadows. Now add to this two malevolent gods who imbue two people with the same set of skills, yet one bets on their pawn misusing these powers for nefarious means whereas the other seeks only to bring justice to the victims. Who‘ll be the victor, and which one of the gods will be right in the end?

Kai’s plot wishlist: fantasy

♚ --- Give me two sorcerers who are bound to each other by life, yet are just as much damned by their master’s dark  spell. Now, as it is, they have been separated. While they try to regain their freedom in exchange for their magical talents, they never stay in one place too long, fearing their master will find and make both pay for their disobedience.

♚  ---- A lonely soul summons a lower demon simply to have somebody to talk to after the untimely death of their parents. Soon, the unlikely pair grows closer, and even the hedonistic and homicidally inclined devil spawn begins to look forward to their nocturnal meetings - that is, until they are blamed for upsetting the universal balance and now have to follow an ever winding trail of supernatural crimes.

♚  ---- A disgruntled sorceress and her eager apprentice.

♚ ---- How about a plot centered around an angel and a demon, except they are both assigned to watch over the same human - either to tempt or to urge them onto a virtuous path. To complicate matters, though, god’s servant wants an adventure instead of rules, and frequently leaves the demon to question which one of them really serves the devil.

♚ ---- Magical apocalypse. The ley lines become corrupted and, mysteriously, some magic users mutate into beasts whereas others don’t. Fractions form, tensions ensue, and the lines between friend and foe is blurring progressively more with a political war on the rise between the two opposing kingdoms.

♚  ----- The princess of a prestigious kingdom is anything but ladylike, largely preferring to go on reckless adventure for a little taste of freedom. Meanwhile, an assassin of a scheming yet small neighbouring kingdom has been hired to get rid of the princess. In lieu of bloodshed, however, they take a liking to each other and decide to escape their lives together.

♗ ------ An android is purchased by a worried family to take care of their sick son/daughter. While their illness is not terminal, they are nonetheless in need of assistance around the house. As time goes by, the two grow closer, and their owner is strangely enticed by the android’s curiosity. In the end, they fall in love after the android has gained self-awareness, effectively being rendered a deviant. The only complication being: the government, having caught wind of a new deviant movement, has issued a bill compelling owners to hand over their androids as a preemptive measure. Consequently, the two are now on the run from the law so they can be together.

♚ —— Enter the players; raise the stakes. The hotel owner of a luxurious establishment has been murdered. Secrets soon spool out into the open because two feuding crime families were holding a meeting, brokering for a truce unbeknownst to the remaining guests. Add a discharged intelligence agent to the misery and a plot thickens. While security tightens and leads are found, the criminals, especially, are left with a decision to make: will they use this opportunity to dispose of the affair together or will they incriminate one another?

♚ —— An ambitious journalist gets her hands on incriminating documents that could effectively end any and all aspirations of the vice present to ever be considered for the more desirable position. Moreover, they could also end up in jail. Having been through such insignificant scuffles before, they put a plan in motion to destroy her career straight away, little knowing she has not only political ties to protect her but likewise an entire crime family to back her. What becomes a nuisance, therefore, quickly turns into a dangerous game.

♚ —— Give me an intricate storyline about a couple who is realistic. No fairytale,  no perfect neighborhood family. Give me two people who aren’t perfect together, yet whose lives are intertwined by a rich, long history. Show me two hot-headed, impetuous people barely able to agree on anything. A quiet, emphatic personality pitched against a person who has built walls around them, who has been taught the hard way that vulnerability is leverage against you. But most importantly, show me how they are both willing to work for their relationship. Give me the ugly breakups, the regret and the longing; give me the passionate makeups, the vows of loyalty that last regardless of their current relationship status. Give me two people who, in spite of everything, still check up on each other behind one another’s backs and make sure they’re doing all right. Maybe one of them mysteriously finds their rent paid for a full year when they hit financially rough patches. Show me the casual beginning of hookups gradually turning into something more. Show me they’re meant for each other even though they’re both storms in their own right.  As always: m/m, f/f

♚ —— Two people from prestigious families, while not pressured, are strongly encouraged to agree to their parents’ marriage arrangements. Their motivations for agreeing are their own, however, they do promise to at least meet this soon-to-be spouse and, if they like them enough, follow through with the proposal. To their surprise, they hit it off immediately ( a certain element of antagonizing teasing may very well be involved) and before they know it, they are up to their elbows in wedding plans, getting to know each other in the process. Unbeknownst to them, though: their spouse is part of a crime cartel, and as the plot thickens, they’re entangled in affairs better left alone.  ---- m/m, f/f
