It was fairly chilly today, perhaps because winter season would be approaching soon. Regardless, the man enjoyed the way the cold tickled his cheeks and his nose as he walked down the paved street within the inner district of Wall Sina. It wasn't as busy today it seemed--the City Square not as crowded as it usually was. There were still people hustling and bustling around, but perhaps the cold had deterred them from lingering as much.

Erwin certainly wasn't complaining. That meant more peace--that he could be left to himself without people walking up to him and wanting to converse, or just simply ask information that was clearly classified to the general public.

On a day like this, some hot tea would help ease his spirit even more because for the next few days, things were probably going to be hell once more. He'd go to the capital for a meeting, listen to the same drivel he had to hear every few weeks or so, and then return to his office to do paperwork that he believed was a bit unnecessary from time to time before perhaps going off on an expedition. It was an endless cycle of exhaustion, but Erwin had long since grown used to it. This was all simply apart of his duty as a soldier--as a Commander, to suffer through all this.

At least he wasn't alone in the slow death by paperwork, so the man supposed he couldn't really complain all that much. Erwin took a deep breath, shaking his head of this and pulling his scarf a bit higher up to keep his neck warm. A small break was really what he needed today, even if it was the only break he received in a long time.
