SPOILERS FOR "LA FLOR Y LA MUERTE" AND "EL SOL Y LA MENTIRA"

I've finished La flor y la muerte and now I cannot stop thinking about Asha and Ianthe after the book finishes. About how they can only ever meet for a short time before Ianthe has to return to Mars one again. How that will be the happier their ending will ever get if they don't manage to overthrow Olympus, because Ianthe will be the next Deméter and Asha won't stop being a criminal. And the more responsibilities that Ianthe gets, the more she can help the resistance from inside, but the less she will be able to escape Mars and seek Asha.

And then there's Armand and the Zeus he'll fall in love with in the next book. And their happy ending will only be possible if Olympus doesn't fall before the Zeus is done with her reign. And that will make Asha's and Ianthe's happy ending even less likely, because this Zeus knows that Ianthe and Armand are working for the resistance. She'll use that to her advantage if she can, and she might love Armand and might not want to hurt him by hurting Ianthe, but even if the Zeus doesn't hurt them or use them directly, Ianthe will be the next Deméter if Olympus doesn't fall within that Zeus time in power. And she won't be able to meet with Asha if she's the Deméter because she'll have so many responsibilities and an image to maintain
