U G H i'm so sad whenever i think about how far apart zoe and nanaba grow because of their growing differences like....they aren't on the same squad once they get into the legion and because of her near death experiences and revelations her outlook on life changes considerably and the hopeful perky soldier she was with nanaba shifts and warps and the hope is still there, it's so key to her personality but it's just become unrecognizable at this point ugh ugh ugh ugh like
they still spend time with one another and are best friends but
it's not the same
