alexander:

wrapped in ink stained and smudge paper with a little string tied in a bow around the center.

it is a book stuffed to the brim full of sketches that alexander had never seen through the years of him. his eyes, his smile, portraits at nearly every age and at every angle, little quotes written in the margin that had made emma laugh, and very, very many panthers.
