The commander headed directly to her cabin. Usually rather chipper, she didn't even look up at the crew members as she made her way towards the elevator. That mission did not go well. They got the job done, of course, but the Eclipse base they were storming had a signal blocker that actually was strong enough to disrupt her navigation systems. It took her hours to even find the thing, and the shrewd comments from Zaeed on their way back about her sense of navigation did very little to help her mood. She was halfway up the elevator, still firmly gripping her shotgun as she tended to when stressed, before she realized- had she heard barking on the crew deck?
