Right where it hurts. ❞ Sessha issued the threat with as much malice as a short person can when they're practically jumping to reach their phone being held over their head. Damn her short height, and damn Dark's tendency to make things more difficult than they needed to be.

{ ♬ }— "Aki! Can you help me hang up these Christmas lights? My mom wants me to decorate, but um, yeah.."
{ ♬ }— Sessha didn't say anything, but she was referring to her height. With how short she was, the girl couldn't reach anywhere to hang the lights. Aki was a lot taller than her; he'd probably be able to help.
Why were Maeya's school days not so pleasant? Was she bullied? And how about Sessha's father? Is he constantly travelling and the only person home is her mom? What do your muses think of trust, is it important to them? Do they have a word they absolutely hate? What would be the consequences of betraying their trust?
Maeya had a hard time in school because it gave her a lot of anxiety and depression. She'd been bullied in elementary school and used a lot in high school. It was really stressful for her, but once she graduated she managed to find emotional stability.
Sessha's father goes to work early in the morning and doesn't come back until late at night. He does do a lot of travelling, yes, and her mom is around more often than he is. However, she's not home in the afternoons that much, either, so Sessha is home alone at lot of the time.
To both of my muses, trust is a very important component of a good relationship, whether it's platonic or romantic or anything else. They both trust easily, but they have different reactions to having their trust betrayed. Where Sessha will immediately react with anger or revenge, Maeya will immediately blame herself.
With Sessha, if you betray her trust, you're more likely to hit a wall. She's a defensive person in general, but even more so when she's threatened. However, Maeya has a bad habit of blaming herself in situations that aren't her fault, and she's susceptible to falling into abusive relationships.
Sessha doesn't seem to have any words she loathes, but Maeya absolutely despises being called a bitch. It makes her furious and, honestly, ready to hurt people.
{ ♬ }— It had been years since Sessha had seen her best friend. After the younger girl had disappeared, everyone in the town had been talking about werewolves, and how they kidnapped children in the night. When Hayate didn't return for six months, she was presumed dead. Sessha hadn't handle it well--she always demanded to be left alone, and offered relentlessly to search the woods for her. It had been years. Five years, to be exact. And now there were rumours of her return.
{ ♬ }— Determined to find out if the rumours were true, the girl had asked to go see Hayate's dad. If she were to return, that was probably the first place she would go. With her father's permission and her mother's blessing, she set out walking for her friend's house.
{ ♬ }— It was a bit of a walk, honestly, and she should have really asked to ride to her house instead, but walking gave her time to think. The adrenaline that had coursed through her veins while she was packing a knapsack of things had set her going, but now that she was on her way, she realised she had no clue what she was doing. What would she say? Would she be able to say anything at all? Such thoughts and worries bounced around in her mind until finally she reached Hayate's house. Taking a deep breath, the girl brought a hand up and knocked three times.
“Hello?”

Sessha sniffled before answering, "Hey, Aki.. Look, um, can I come over to your place? I just got in a fight with my uncle, who's supposed to be taking care of me while my parents are away, and I.. I need to talk about it, but I don't want to be near him when I do."

"H-Hey, Cole? Um.. I'm kinda in the E.R. Thought you should know; my mom's here with me, so it's all good, kinda, but, uh.. yeah. Probably gonna be in the hospital for another couple days or something, since I broke my leg, but I thought you'd wanna know."
