In the mid 1800′s., a vampire by the name of Arthur grew tired of a certain cunning detective who for years had followed him around, trying to get him arrested for murder. After feasting on his human blood, he let him drink from his own, turning him into one of his kind in order to allow him to learn the difficulties of eternal life.
Other than the normal existential dread that occasionally makes him spiral into deep depression, Sherlock greatly enjoys his life as a vampire, but his passion for detecting has long dropped, his ability to read minds making it extremely easy and unenjoyable to solve crimes. He now keeps himself busy by working exclusively for supernatural cases and cases that involve supernatural creatures, he’s also an exceptional chemist and explores his own nature through experimentation.
