Bitey’s the most obvious. Trey relies heavily on his Sharpedo for transport, in both work and leisure time. She’s also his go-to patrol partner and main battle pokemon… which can be an issue if he is surfing on her at the time.
Leo is Trey’s resident shoulder buddy and the team’s steath expert. If you need anything stolen, broken into or sneakily photographed, Leo’s your lizard. (Though he does have a tendency to get distracted by shiny things.) He also runs general errands such as delivering/picking up small items and messages, knows where to find all the best berries (sometimes, that’s just in a shop) and has been known to fuss over people when they’re unwell.
Friday is the newest member of the team, and he’s already made himself indispensable. Trey uses the Huntail to take part in deep sea missions and training exercises, which in turn has made him a more valuable member of Team Aqua.
Blue doesn’t battle and is practically a floating potato, but she’s still useful around the Aqua base. She’s great for moving cargo around, since you can put things on her back and gently push her around. She doesn’t mind. Blue is also tasked with looking after Trey’s secret base and doubles as a very comfy beanbag that can sing you to sleep.
Then there’s Skip. His sole duty is to bounce around and looks cute. It’s good for morale.
