Baking was one of Amora’s favorite hobbies, not that she had a sweet tooth, but all of the fun ways to decorate the sweets was definitely pleasing. So it was fairly obvious how much she loved her job at the Lazy Cat cafe where she could create little pastries in the kitchen for the customers. At one point she hoped to be able to do a monthly special pastry but she wasn’t really in the position to bring that up with her boss just yet.
It was morning time and everyone was prepping to open the shop. The pastries and other foods from the previous day had been thrown out during the night, leaving their display cases empty. Thankfully, it was Amora’s job to fill them. After getting out the ingredients and tools necessary for her first creation, Amora pulled on her apron and got to work. As she was combining the ingredients she realized something was missing. Sugar! The sugar was no where to be found.
Amora searched around the kitchen for some but couldn’t find any. Both she and her hands were a mess from some accidental spills and she didn’t want to go out into the cafe area in such a state. “Can someone bring me some sugar?!” Amora yelled into the main room, hoping that someone would hear her and bring the ingredient. Otherwise they’d have to mop the floor all over again.
