“Ugh.” He groaned under his breath, as he made his way to the emergency room, still busy with the sandwich in his hand. Apparently some kid got shot and no other doctor was available at this time. Saying that he was annoyed would be an understatement. Doctor, Doctor, Hurry. He could make out, as he took another large bite of his sandwich on his way. In his head he was already deciding himself what he wanted to do, by weighting his opinions. Was he in the mood to save this kid, or was this one of these I am so sorry, I tried my best to save him-moments. After all the child was disturbing his sandwich time, so it didn’t really look good for him. Nate could hear the assistants and nurses making the boy ready for surgery as he shoved the rest of his sandwich into his mouth before starting to disinfect his hands and arms for work, not that he would actually need that, but people were very sensitive when it came to operating with bare hands and stuff like that. The boy was weak and didn’t have much time left, he could sense that without entering the room. Rolling his eyes slightly, he joined the hectic group of people in the room, as he finally took a look of the patient. “Sup, Where are my girls at? I am here.“ He announced cheerfully, before giving his assistants orders.
This little boy was lucky though, he could smell the disgusting aftershave of his boss, who was walking down the hall. Nate was his favorite, that’s probably the reason why he was still working at the hospital even though he was irresponsible. But Nathan was a master in manipulation after all and would at least pretend to make his job, in case the old man wanted to check on him. “Man, let’s be honest, the boy’s about to bite the ground. Eunmi, my soundtrack, let’s bring it on!” As soon as his music was on, he started the surgery. Getting a bullet out of a children’s body wasn’t a difficult task, but keeping him alive while having his hands buried inside, was a completely different story. The man could feel the vital energy of the young boy, thanks to his own powers and could tell from the beginning when this was a pointless fight. But Nathan loved challenges, especially those which seemed to be impossible and he never lost a battle when he took one. “You know what? Something really funny happened yesterday!” It was normal for him to start telling a story while he was operating, it was his best way of concentrating. “Wait." The man stopped his hands before looking at one of his admirers in the room. “I think I forgot to turn off the stove at home.” After speaking up he continued his work, finally removing the bullet. “Ah, don’t worry guys, I did turn it off! I remember!”
