Lately I’ve been damn inspired by the people in my life.  I’ve got one sexy man, a full staff of talented and beautiful people along with awesome friends.  My Polaroid was always attached to me since I was a teen but my digital camera has kinda taken over (my wallet thanks you). I’ve got such joy around me that I never thought possible so keepin’ a visual log of that is important to me.

Friday morning Kaho, Kira, Anh and I went ‘round Osaka for supplies for the event that evening. Kaho is such a young, innocent beauty that comes out in any pic I take of her. Kira was just bein’ his always adorable self so I had to snap that! Anh is very quiet like she’s always thinkin’ and even her walk is regal somehow. I try to spend time with each of my staff individually to get to know them. I want them to feel like they’ve got family at the salon cuz that’s what my goal is.  Everyone’s got a voice and every voice is as important as the next.

After the event Kira, the whole staff, our guests and myself celebrated together with food, games, karaoke and lots of alcohol. Did we get shit wasted? You bet your ass we did! Mikio is like this little ball of energy (who smokes too much) and I gotta say I always get the best pics of him.  He and Saila are the closest out of my staff.  They’re fun to watch!  Saila has a really calming energy or somethin’ to her but I can’t put my finger on it.  One day maybe what I capture on film will give me the answer.

The entire day from start to finish I felt like I was walkin’ in some sorta dream. When did my life become what it is today? How in the hell did I get here? I’m gonna have to stop questioning it because all I wanna do is bask in every second of what I’ve been given.  The here and now.  I’ve got plans for the future and I don’t wanna be stuck in the past ever again.
