beloved — @sethmuses
The set looked like a regular classroom, but to Tei, every shadow was full of hidden promises and secret passions. Because this would be their place, where the cameras would capture their souls and bond them together, entwining them in an eternal photo. Tei had hardly slept, contemplating the idea of holding that photo, inhaling its scent and pressing her lips to its cool surface. She would get it printed professionally, she decided -- it was too precious of an object to simply stare at on a computer screen.
The pictures would be published, of course, plastered across both Crypton's and Utau's website. That did not cheapen it to her at all. Let all bear witness to their love. Let them imagine it was staged; perhaps even Len himself would think that. He could be so stubborn, so deaf to the call their hearts made. Tei didn't mind waiting, however. For Len, she would wait an eternity if he only asked it.
By the time Len entered, she was already dressed in the costume given to her, a simple school uniform. Her uncle was talking about something or another, but the second Len entered the room, his voice faded away and became unimportant. There was only him now, only Len. That girl was next to him, saying something, but Tei paid no mind to her, either. She only stood, bowing formally in greeting. "We meet again, Len-kun." The honorific felt forced on her tongue -- when she spoke to him in her dreams, she never bothered with honorifics. They were too close to that, but perhaps people would question it.
