What could she give as a gift to someone who was not only immortal but also a mage? Alice had been wracking her brain for days trying to think of something special, but she knew too little of his secrets to try and come up with a fitting idea and even then she had no clue as to how she would go about acquiring a magical item of sorts.
In the end, she remembered what they talked about when he first told - and showed - her his magic powers. About unique experiences. And she decided to go with that when she invited him to spend a few days with her on her grandfather’s farm.
Once they’d gotten everything into their rooms, she brought him to the stables and had him pick a horse, heading out across the fields and well past the dirt road to a place not many people knew how to get to. After about twenty minutes of riding, they arrived at a beautiful waterfall and took a moment to tie down the horses.
“Hopefully this is a place you haven’t been to yet.” She mused with a smile, taking the picnic basket from where it’d been secured to her mount’s saddle and walking up to the spellweaver. “Happy birthday, Tenzin.”
