Out Of Time
@despxratesouls | I hope you don’t mind me just starting this off bc I had a need
Edward had seen many things that might baffle the minds of lesser men but rarely had he come upon something as curious as to that which currently stood before him. Clad in garments of a sort he had never seen before, the man looked thoroughly out of place in the darkened backstreet, bewildered and alone.
If anything, he looked rich. That was something you didn’t want to put on display in this part of town.
“My, my.” His lips curved into a smile, sensing a profit in his future. “You look a little lost, sir. Might I be of assistance?” With his dress a little more casual than he might otherwise have been, Ed knew he would appear to this man as no more than a local or a sailor. He might even be easily fooled into thinking he was, in fact, just a good samaritan.
Already he was weighing his options, wondering what family this young man belonged to and how much they might be willing to offer in exchange for his safe return. Given the name attached to his captor, he would bet a great deal.
