It seemed Kazuma would’ve been better off listening to that voice of reason in his head. Sure, he wouldn’t have been able to ascertain whether or not Trinity had gotten caught up in all of this. But wouldn’t it have been a bit preferable to being caught up in this mess? Maybe? The monsters he’d continually kept seeing (and not seeing, as it turned out) made him think that for a moment.
...But here he was, acting irrationally anyways. Well, perhaps it was rational at this point. His best chance at survival was to work with whoever he ran into and hope they could help him. Trinity was always dependable, perhaps to a fault. Kazuma wagered the girl had likely been tearing herself to pieces trying to keep people safe during this mess. That seemed like something she would do. And so it stood to reason that his best option was to seek her out.
The change in cityscape had made identifying his surroundings difficult (and a bit unnerving), but he’d found the general structure of things hadn’t changed much. Searching, he noticed a familiar figure searching around. That certainly looked like her...
“...” He approached her from behind, quietly. Calling out to her seemed dangerous, with the various creatures lurking around. Quietly, masking his presence as best he could, he poked her shoulder before speaking in a hushed whisper. “Trinity?”
