Headcanon: Abilities
I like to think that each composer has slightly different abilities based on who’s in the position.
For Neku, although he’s trying to be more sociable, he’s still very much an introvert and would much prefer to shut people out. However, as a player in the Reapers’ Game he showed a natural talent for psychs. As Composer, this manifested as the ability to hear people’s thoughts. Constantly. Talk about noise.
So to help out, Mr. H modded a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. They help quiet down the chatter to near silence and allow him to tune in on certain thought streams as he needs to. They also double as a sort of telepathic communication device between Neku and other noise-transmitting electronics. They look like this.
Also because I think Neku would look really good in black and silver so they match his new outfit leave me a l o n e.
