urie and sasaki react to their s/o who works with them at ccg to be usually calm and collected but suddenly turn cruel, ruthless and absolutely badass when fighting ss rates ghouls :)
I think there’s a similar scenario in the askbox; if so I’ll just write out another one but here you guys go
URIE had known his partner to be much like him in that they kept tothemselves. At the CCG headquarters, they are quite unassuming and those thataren’t aware of how brutal they can be wonder just how someone like them becamean investigator. Urie had fallen into the same trap, curious as to whetherthey’d be able to maintain their composure in a serious fight. It’s on aparticularly dangerous assignment when he finds out that he’s correct, but notin the way he expected. Their cool composure breaks and they wield their weaponwith a grace that makes them seem superhuman, unveiling the cruelty that liesbeneath the typical way they carried themselves. He watches out of the cornerof his eye how they deliberately make the ghoul suffer while somehow avoidingthe attacks flung their way. His partner is the one to deliver the killingblow, blood and kagune fluid spraying against their uniform. “Urie. You shouldbe more careful, you’re injured.” They wipe some blood off of his cheek, backto the calm, collected partner he knew. He’s bewildered by their shift inpersonality. How many other facets of them had he yet to see?
SASAKI had never been bothered by his partner’s apparent indifference. Manyseemed to be under the impression they are apathetic to most things and wonderedhow someone as cheery as Sasaki could be compatible with them. In reality, theynever saw the point in becoming too riled up over anything, something he knowsvery well. Everyone, including Sasaki, that hasn’t fought alongside his partnerexpects them to execute ghouls with the same temperament. However, it’s quiteevident that they approach ghouls, or rather the extermination of ghouls, witha brutality that contrasted with their persona of indifference. Ghouls fall tothe left and right of them with a machine-like efficiency, though their visageis anything but mechanical. There is a silent, gray fury, in their eyes. Sasakican’t help but feel in awe of them. They are in their element on the battlefield, swinging their weapon in fluid arcs. Their grace is a stark contrast to thesurrounding gore. He wonders if one day his partner will have to turn theirweapon on him should he lose control.
