"How’d you get your hair like that?”
Aisling dropped from the tree, legs catching on a branch so she was hanging upside down, hair touching the ground. She raised an eyebrow at the boy she was hanging in front of, an expectant look on her face. “And why is it that color?” Of course white hair like Aisling’s was weird for humans, especially when that hair color was connected to a child, but it was normal for her people. And she knew that most human’s had brown or black hair but here this kid was with multi-colored hair sticking up all over the place. She was almost in awe (not that she’d admit it). Maybe she could get her own hair to be like that. “Are you a monster? A fairy?” That was probably it. Full-blooded fairies could look like anything. She’d probably just mistook him for a human.
She swung back and forth slowly, arms crossed over her chest as she waited for an answer. “Well?”
