If they like going to the beach: yes!! city boy loves it one billion per cent. it's one of the best ways to beat the heat, especially when summers can get brutal in the concrete jungle of NYC. now that he lives in California it's so much easier to get to the beach and that (and carlos) are some of the only good things about los angeles

Their favourite type of soda/pop: karver is a sprite guy 1000%

What type of bathing suit they like to wear, if they wear any: karver always loves a splash of color - he wears boardshorts in brighter, more fun colors like light blue, green, yellow, and pink!!

Do they celebrate Pride Month, either as a queer person or a supportive ally?: as a queer person yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!! though he will be arguing that NYC pride is farrrr superior to la pride, he is still ecstatic to be participating in celebrations with carlos and their friends <3

hi birdie! just wanted to tell you that i got to show the commissions to my niece and nephew recently and my niece (11, loves art) was super surprised and excited at the concept of commissioning artists, and my nephew (16, famously uninterested in most things i show him) thought ur art was sick (very positive) hehe

hope ur well! +saw the yugioh poll and am very intruiged by it + i did vote lmao (just by looking at everything and w my minimal knowledge of yugioh they all seem absolutely unhinged and completely plausible but my first guess was the love confession and my second is the burger joint fire. just based on vibes)

how do you keep yourself motivated when working on bigger/more time-consuming projects ?? I've been working on the same ff7 fic for almost seven months and im like gnawing at the bars of my cage because i wanna post it so bad but it's not done yet!! im so torn, part of me wants to refuse to post WIPs because im convinced im going to jinx myself, and part of me wants to go absolutely ham posting WIPs.

Honestly, I think posting a wip would be a good idea! Getting feedback is a huge motivator, at least in my experience. Hell, post a lot of them! Make memes about it! Turn it into a big deal! Because if you can get people hyped up about it, then that feeling is super contagious. Like when I was slogging through my demake of Demon Gates, making some silly doodles is what helped me stay sane 20 hours in.

And even if you do wind up losing interest in the project, think of it this way: How many fics have you read that were abandoned years ago? How many of those do you still think of as your favorites after all this time, that you re-read occasionally because they're still SO good despite being incomplete? I would much rather see more writers post fics that never get done, than for them to keep them hidden forever out of preemptive guilt.
