As Kikyou stays in the House of Purgatory, she naturally would spend more time with the angels and Solomon. Not that she would not visit House of Lamentation often, it is just easier to associate with those in the same household after a long day of classes.
Despite what others may think or say, Kikyou adores little Luke. He is not a child but how can she resist his angelic child-like mannerisms at times ? He is small and often teased for being a Chihuahua. So naturally she is protective and very patient with him. She makes time to do baking, painting or some activity with him. With the time spent, she can pick up on when he needs some affection and cuddles. He is very precious~. She also was not above introducing him to Disney movies.
Out of politeness, she almost ate Solomon’s cooking...but was saved by Simeon’s and Luke’s quick witted intervention. She survived for another day. Barely.
Simeon, Kikyou and Solomon would sometimes have celestial tea--prepped by Simeon--together and get to know one another when there was time.
Kikyou has had to put multiple warding spells on her door whenever she was busy. Asmodeus had a tendency to pop in when he comes to visit Solomon. And somehow, it is always poorly timed for her. So when she knows she is going to bathe, change or need some time to unwind, she activates it until she is done. It works, however, not just on Asmo. But on the others as well--such as Mammon coming to plead regarding his homework or latest test scores, Satan with his questioning (while encouraged--does not need to come to her room to continue to discuss) and so forth. Kikyou values her downtime and needs to recharge after teaching mostly demons all day.
Luke is never fond of her leaving to pop on over to the House of Lamentation to see Cerberus.
Somehow Simeon and Asmodeus occasionally manages to get her to go shopping, see the stores and such.
Kikyou finds Simeon’s presence to be relaxing and soothing, when she isn’t teaching that is. She finds herself unwinding easily, perhaps due to her spiritual nature and hidden prowess. She surmises it is due to the fact that they are aligned with heavenly energies, thus vibing together in harmony. That and he was a kind and amiable, making it easy to speak with.
Solomon and Kikyou would discuss human world affairs, places to visit, bucket lists, favourite places, thoughts on certain historical events etc.
“....If you have something to say, just say it. The sooner you adjust to this form, the faster we can move onto more important items.” Kikyou huffed, her thick obsidian tail wagging briefly at the sight of him. Was she going to address that ? No. Hmph. Her ears flickered as she averted her gaze.
send me ‘ truth serum ’ along with something your muse has always wanted to ask mine, or something you have always wanted to know about them, for my muse to answer truthfully.
🏹 "Why would I hate you ? There is no reason to. So no." Hate was an extremely strong word reserved for very few people. Given that she does not know Sora very well, it was impossible. Though..his appearance did remind her of someone but that was no fault of his. There could be a variety of emotions associated with that particular person, but hate would never be one of those.
Summary: Hisana dies and is reborn into the modern world. At a young age, she used to be able to see Hollows and Shinigami, but due to authoritative pressures, soon stopped seeing them altogether. Good girls don’t lie nor tell stories.Good girls grow up. And grow up she did, into a stunning, compassionate, brilliant young woman. Despite her tender age, she is already working on her master’s in psychology, with a strong focus on child development. Her eventual aim was to become a child psychologist, but she was aware how unpredictable life can be. Which was why she was studying part time and working at a daycare centre.
Hisana has no memories of Soul Society, sister or former husband. It was a brand new life. However, she did look exactly the same. Brilliant violet hues, obsidian silken tresses, a petite but shapely frame and slender legs. The only small differences were: her skin radiated with health, her hair was longer and she wore professional, modern day clothing.
((For the lolz I’ll keep her name the same :’ ) so when people call her out--she’s like hm?? That is my name but who are you? xD))
More details below the cut---but it is incomplete since I grew tired lmao
After she dies, Hisana is eventually reborn into the modern world. Her parents were not ready to devote their lives to a child and anonymously abandoned her at the steps of a religious associated orphanage.
The orphanage was stringent and fostered discipline, manners and hard work. It was not exactly ideal for children. Children required love and nurturing. There was an absence of it, ironically. But Hisana worked hard regardless. To avoid being disciplined of course but also to some day be adopted. For they drilled into their minds, diligent children get good homes. Determined, Hisana got good grades at school and kept a low profile in the orphanage.
The only period of time when she got into trouble was around the age of 4 years, when she began talking about scary monsters and people flying through the air. That didn’t sit well with those in charge. They thought she was lying and needless to say, she got severely punished every time it was mentioned. It came to a point when she learned to lie about seeing these monsters and black robed people. Then altogether, due to the constant stress and pressure, she began believing that it was a figment of her imagination. Eventually, Hisana stopped seeing them altogether by the time she was 10 years old.
Hisana was adopted to a family by 6 years of age. Her mother was a lovely woman, understanding that children could be imaginative. Her father, more of a stern and had no time for such nonsense. He simply continued the work of the orphanage, by punishing her whenever she made mention of such fanciful stories. Especially to her new, younger brother and sister
By 10 years old, her relationship with her father was tenuous at best. It did not matter too much. Her mother was warm and kind, her siblings were cute and very attached to her. Yet even though she acted like it never bothered her, she did wonder what she did for her father to dislike her as much as he did.
Send me “ what happened to you? “ for your muse to find mine bandaging up a wound
“ what happened to you? ". @barbaricdragon
🏹 “The demons were a little friskier than normal..” And it was a trend she was beginning to notice as well. Something was antagonizing and triggering them, their aggression impossibly worse than normal. There was no hunger, no enjoyment..just a blank gaze within their eyes. It was very odd.
The female grimaced and bit back a hiss of pain as she pulled out a pair of spikes from her thighs. Upon disconnecting from her flesh, they began to sizzle and dissolve, Her fingers were already at work, tiredly cleaning the puncture marks upon her slender leg before applying some healing poultice.
“I’ve noticed they are appearing more frequently and more hostile..I do not know why but..I have to find out..Can you pass me the bandages..?” Kikyou was covered in cuts, scratches and dirt. Such an appearance was not unusual and injuries sometimes, were a part of her occupation. At the very least, her above average endurance, stamina and pain tolerance were useful in incidents such as these.
@barbaricdragon :To make her remember, he’d tell her “I had heard the stories, but I hadn’t thought you’d be this beautiful.”
🏹 The priestess simply looked at the male, a small furrow of her eyebrows the only reaction to his statement. Was this man flirting with her ? How odd. Even weirder..was the fact that she felt she heard this sentence before. “...Hm. “ It did tickle at her at her, but she simply brushed it off and turned to leave.
After all, she had placed she needed to go.
