Dear Coach, Athletes, Parents
My name is Ty Kline and I am the pitching coach here at Athletes In Motion, located in Beaverton, Oregon. If you want to know a little more about my background you can read about it at www.klinetotalpitching.com. Here at Athletes In Motion we want to help all of your players reach their top potential. As the pitching coach, I use a simple yet effective way to help your players reach their top potential, and become successful students of the game.
M+P=V.. Mechanics + Power = Velocity
Mechanics don't have to be as difficult as we all thought. We can trouble shoot flaws and provide correct mechanics maximizing arm strength. I can assess your players mechanics with you and the player with video. I can email these corrections so you can review anytime . Over several videos you will be able to see the difference vs the first time. (See video at bottom. Can do on site at location from phone.)
Power. We can do core and leg programs, along with shoulder and back programs to create a strong throwing platform that creates arm strength.
Velocity. There is a basic formula we use to tell what your maximum velocity should be. Once we get your players base assessment we will find how to maximize your players potential.
V+I=W..Velocity + Intelligence = Wins
Joe Morgans said it best "That's the fastest ball four I've ever seen."
Velocity without Intelligence is nothing. We can give pitching philosophies; identify out pitches; set up hitters; how to move catchers to maximize ball movement, and thought patterns with regard to line ups. We can provide this as a package or we can cater to your ball players individual needs. Most importantly we can work with your keys players during the "dead times" When you can't.
We can also do targeted warm ups to maximize Power, Speed and Agility before games and practices.
