I think shedletsky struggles really badly with sensory issues, specifically texture and pressure on certain body parts ESPECIALLY his feet
He fucking hates the feeling of anything other than the ground touching his feet, hence why he’s barefoot
The longest he’s had to deal with having shoes on was his wedding but he never objected to Brighteyes’ outfit suggestion because she looked so happy suggesting it and the laces had lavenders woven into them and they were so cute!!! The second him and Brights got back home after the wedding he threw the shoes halfway across the room and screamed into a cushion. Luckily brighteyes wasn’t offended and was honestly pretty touched by the fact that he wanted her to be happiest on their wedding day
this isn’t a symptom of anything he’s just like that
Before ⁉️ made this blog, I’d never really noticed Shedletsky was always barefoot. So thank you guys (/nb) for getting these cool headcanons about it!
Also yes Shedletsky would wear shoes and hate it the whole time just to make Brighteyes happy
