I can’t wait until it’s summer. I’ll drive us down to the boardwalk and we can spend all day there. we can laugh as I fail horribly trying to win you prizes. we’ll ride rollercoasters together. I’ll kiss you on the Ferris wheel, right at the top, and we’ll look down over all the lights and people and I’ll never feel more blessed. we can finish the night talking about life at midnight on the beach, eating overpriced boardwalk ice cream, our toes in the sand. I’ll hold your hand and walk along the beach with you as the waves lap at our ankles. that’s my perfect night and it’s all I can do to picture you in it.
