hi Hank! I’d love to hear some of your thoughts on Sanford, if uhh, that’s okay with you!

not the greatest with words so this is going to be messy and ill try to keep it shorter.

mainly gonna be referencing this series and not as much project nexus

i think he is painfully underrated and heavily misinterpretated which is really confusing to me because of how much material he has on screen. it doesn't take that much to pay attention to a character that has more screentime that one of the other most popular characters in the series and game.

hes expressive, not wildly dramatically expressive but hes the only character besides jeb that shows facial expressions or some sort of dramatic body language. hes not heavily emotional but he's probably the only person to show atleast something but that mostly comes from fustration or stress.

people dont mention his paranoia enough. hes constantly hyper vigilant, way more than anyone else. even if hes been sneaked up on a few times hes constantly checking over his shoulder and surveying the area and keeping an eye out even when he isnt directly in the line of fire. keeping an eye out for the people around him and himself.

big fan of him being the one to have a bond with everyone, he manages the play well with others and is good at helping keep track of surroundings which ties in with him being hypervigilant especially in MC 11. even while hes stumbling and limping hes still keeping an eye out and keeping track and trying to pay attention to his surroundings.

with the shit i mentioned before where hes expressive with and fustration and anger hes still playful and is still having fun between shots when theres brief moments of a break. playing rock paper scissors, dancing around with his teammate, playful sort of open motion as he get anchors in mc 12, and feeling himself up in his new outfit.

hes tough as shit and i dont think people give him enough credit for that as if it wasnt obvious enough with the hell he went through in MC12 and bring labeled as "unkillable". getting shot and still limping around and then hitting himself with a shot of adrenaline and getting moving again like fucking nothing, taking hit after hit of being bullied and pushed around by tricky, getting flung around and into walls, getting dragged to hell while still alive, fighting iff being possessed, getting stabbed and taking the knife he was stabbed with and etc.

i hate that people label him as deimos' bimbo boytoy with tits, hes a tough motherfucker that has survived it all. hes playful and intimidating, hes a freak and a guy.

id say more but thats all youre getting. take this as bullshit ramble demo-lite because i rant about this bullshit for hours.

Do you think when Endermen cough they drool bioluminescent fluids? Do you think Creepers scratch their long fuzzy leafy necks with their hooves? Do you think Mooshrooms laying down looks like hills of mushrooms? Do you think Jean curls up around her nesting area and puffs out smoke from her nose to keep her egg warm? Do you think wither skeletons spar to show trust in one another? Do you think villagers healed around healed (former zombie) villagers to assure that they're okay?

You think the Warden is just autistic and overstimulated all the time and he's just too big for his own good lmao like leave the guy alone and you're fine

1. i like to think endermen dont have a typical fluid in them because of their biological hydrophobia and their damage to water and it'd be funny that instead of drool they sneeze out the dust you see when they teleport

2. funny to think theres an attempt because of their short legs but maybe like big pigs they roll around to fix that or rub against trees

4. yes, and i like to think that since endermen like to spawn in the warped forest maybe the end isn't as cold as you think it is or that endermen are really good at adapting to the areas and the warped forest is a good pitstop for warmth or like an intersection of the end and the nether. (side tangent)

5. i dont think wither skeletons have organization like that but i think piglins do but it'd be really fun to think of it like that.

6. i think villagers see it as a cured dissease, youre either zombified or dead and theres a very low survival rate for it so when you see a healed villager it's almost like a miracle since i dont know if they know how to do that but maybe they do idfk

7. the warden is something special to me because i like to see him as a decayed soul of something that was once ment to guard now bound to the city itself and on a constant state of hypervigilence, i think the warden is trapped from the previous civilization that was there and id like to imagine they attempted to make a portal to the nether but fucked up and all their souls became the ground you step on, a huge mass casualty mixed with the new bacteria/stuff they ended up causing and the warden is like a mutated guardian thing made to wander the ancient city protecting something long gone. its made of souls or has soul embeded into it and has been a walking rotting corpse for possibly centuries. maybe something similar to an iron golem but originally made to protect the coty from mobs under ground in the dark. idk something like that maybe. but also yeah maybe a form of autism in a way with the way hes highly sensitive to smells and sound and how the fungus antlers heighten that and are connected to the skulk.
