@tarotprose tarot challenge - Day 2  

 So todays task is to pick a song on shuffle from a playlist ... I don't currently have access to a playlist and Youtube infuriates me BUT as soon as I read this challenge ( this morning ) a particular song which I haven't heard in a long time came into my head and wouldn't leave me alone all day ... so that's my choice ! The song is Shakin Stevens' "You drive me crazy" and the cards I drew were :

Leopard  ( Nurturer of Branches /  Queen of Wands )  Ibis ( Nurturer of Feathers / Queen of Swords )   Crab ( 4 of Shells / Cups )  I've been getting lots and LOTS of nudges , gentle hints and some downright rude / blatant pushes from spirit lately to stop ignoring my intuition and to make use of my gifts both artistically and spiritually ... but when I ask more questions they always come back to "Let your light shine , come out of your shell ... and be the healer you are destined to be". With these cards I got some personal nudges which I won't put here , but I think the song itself was the main point - YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY ... a nudge to LISTEN - take heed of my intuition and stop beating about the bush !  As I often do I drew an extra card 'for the deck' and asked re my relationship with this deck... that card was Bat ( the Hanged Man ) which I think hints at the changing of perspectives as I learn more about the deck and learn to trust more in my own interpretations as given rather than going with the traditional card definitions.

so todays challenge is dealing with energy drains .... the top card representing the energy drain we are trying to clear , the middle card being a solution and the bottom card being a longer term / fix .

What do I have to look forward to this upcoming week ? Octopus = 8 of Shells / Cups A deeper awareness of my path , either learning something outright or beginning the journey ... whether that's internal or actual travel / exploration , it will open up new opportunities and new pathways.

What energies should I embrace to start this week as favourably as possible ? Horse Spirit of Freedom VII / The Chariot Take the reins ! Go forwards courageously and with the bit between my teeth !

What lesson from last week can I carry into this new week ? Bluejay 5 of Feathers / Swords Stop looking for the loopholes , the ways to 'get one up on someone' and look instead for the true path. Do things because they are the right things and not because I think they are expected of me or will make me look good.

I've noticed since I've made an effort to trust my intuition more things are slipping into place again - like if I reference a book it flips open on exactly the page I'm looking for , or I accidentally click a link on the www which gives me info I needed. I also have had a lot more contact from spirit ( even if I can't always understand it ).

What can I do to nurture and cultivate more clarity in my life ? Honoring your death and rebirth

1. What part of myself has died/changed since last October ? Cat - Knower of Secrets II / High Priestess By looking within for the answers , I have begun to bother less about others opinions , and others views of me ... I am the one experiencing this event we call life ... I will listen more to my own guidance as to what I should be doing with it :) My need for validation has expired !

2. What has birthed / developed in its place ? Lizard - 7 of Branches / Wands <More> self confidence... and the guts to bluff to get me through weak spots !!

3. How is this change serving me for the better ? Bat - Master of Suspension XII / The Hanged Man Old habits die hard but new habits can be formed ... bluff and get through until confidence and composure are natural ... sometimes the world looks better upside down and a new perspective often brings new opportunities for growth , things unseen before!

4. How can I honor this current life cycle ? Lynx - 9 of Branches / Wands Fully commit to the changes I'm experiencing ... know that they are for the better and will come easier over time.

Todays challenge is to create the questions for a spread , the cards I drew today were very relevant to issues I’m working on and all relate ( for me ) to issues of self confidence and pushing myself more ... the 3 cards I drew were :

Day 11

So todays challenge is all about going through changes - 

Wheel of change / Spider -Sacred Spinner X Signifier card : Donkey - 5 of Fossils / Pentacles

Card to left of Wheel of Fortune - major change that is occuring in your life Stork - Ace of Feathers / Swords So ... interesting as there are so many major changes going on in my life at the moment it would be easier to focus on what hasn't changed lately ! Tho I get from this card the inception of new ideas and moving forward with the birth of plans for the future... study , business , moving on and rebuilding.

Card to right of Wheel of Fortune - the lesson behind that change Rabbit - Moon Dreamer XVIII / The Moon Not so much a lesson I'd say as a friendly reminder to keep my eye on the goal , have fun and don't lose sight of my dreams ! Things may change , but then so do I - as long as I change for reasons valid to me and not due to outside pressures !
