It were her adoption papers. Her and Gavin had planed this since they got engaged and the little girl couldn't be more excited.

The wedding was one thing, Caleb and Gavin would have continued living together as a couple whether the day had come or not, but this was something else, not only had he married his love, but his daughter, no, their daughter had worked with him for such a gesture.

Paired with that. Connie’s own adoption papers had cleared, but the android wanted to wait until after the wedding to save the boy from being center stage, knowing how much he hated it. Tears welled up in his eyes as he fell to his knees and hugged Suzi tightly, and of course Gavin got dragged in as well, “Thank you, I love you both so much.”

Perfect that this should be the second document to ever be signed with “Caleb Reed” The first being the marriage certificate itself.

"The cake has been ordered and will be ready for your wedding. I also have an arrest warrant issued for the morning of your wedding for the HOA lady so she will have her hands full that day and not have time to complain about what's happening here. Unless of course you've changed plans?"

“Welcome home!” Of course Caleb was excited to see his brother, sure they texted, but he was starting to get worried. “No, nothing’s changed, but I do have more evidence for you. I was on my best behavior. She went after Connie and his Crows, but I kept my head, I have about 20 minutes of her banging on the front door and screaming at both of us. Did you realize she didn’t know we were cops? Or was she bullshitting me?”

it was easy for Caleb to creep up on his husband to be, even if Gavin heard him coming, it wasn’t as though the human had any reason to run. Caleb nibbled  on Gavin’s ear as he wrapped his arms around the smaller man, enveloping him in a possessive embrace. They had been planning this for quite some time. Claws danced lightly across the delicate skin of Gavin’s neck and fangs loomed threateningly, ready to pierce the humans’ flesh.

“I heard you’ve been missing me.” He growled lowly. The werewolf seemed to be Gavin’s favorite scene character, so Caleb wasn’t surprised when the human had asked for him, he was more surprised it had taken so long. “Has the mighty hunter finally accepted that he’s my new chew toy? Or perhaps you want to be my mate?”

Caleb loved the power this scenario gave him, the control that Gavin gave up to let Caleb take control. Gavin had a will power like no other man Caleb had ever met, so the submission was intoxicating.

He wanted to wake up extra early so Caleb could not sneak off and make breakfast without him. Gavin wanted to do that with him together, he wanted to spend the whole day with him. So it would be basically like every other sunday but with even more love.

“Happy Valentine’s day...” His husky voice echoed, still groggy from the pleasant awakening. “I was gonna make you breakfast in bed.” Gavin never woke up before him. Ever since their first time sleeping together, Breakfast in bed had been Caleb’s specialty, but today Gavin had cut him off by nearly an hour.

With half lidded eyes, the android started brushing stray hair from Gavin’s forehead. “Go back to sleep, love. it’s too early for you to be up.”

“Hard to do that when I can’t reach you.” He giggled  before breaking free, only to turn around and pull Gavin close again. Hugging the human’s head into his chest, he placed kisses on the top of his head. 

“I suppose a Valentine’s weekend suits us just fine. We have dinner reservations for tomorrow. Let’s make tonight a movie night, like at your old place“ How’s that sound?”

“You have a week with the beard. Make the most of it.” He teased, usually he only kept it for a few hours, two days was perhaps the longest he’d ever had it, but Gavin deserved a special treat. A week with the beard he seemed to love so much would suffice....for now.

Caleb and Gavin had been so lovey dovey as of late that the shift in Caleb was sudden, almost aggressive. He’d been letting Gavin take charge for a while, but now he wanted control. That was simply the ebb and flow of their relationship, it worked for them. Sometimes they both wanted to take charge and that was when the real fun happened,

Caleb had Gavin pinned to the wall by the wrists, looking at him like a hungry predator, ready to eat him alive. “I have a few new toys we can try, and that ‘special gift’ you got me has been calling your name. We have the house to ourselves, why don’t we have a little fun?”

Clearly he’d already swapped out the part, the fact that it was pressed hard against Gavin’s hip made that much clear.
