His hand grips his wrist tight. As they both stand ...alone...staring at the bright red door. Kinger chose to stay...but why? Caine had put Queenie in the basement...He'd failed the humans. He couldn't entertain them. He couldn't make a single adventure that met their tastes...yet...Kinger stayed.

"W-Wait no-! No! You need to leave."

A feeling of guilt over takes him. Actions are now fuelled by adrenalin, he rips the door open only to see that the portal is missing... the door opens but its just a door; obscuring the view of the rest of the circus.

He opens and shuts it over and over. Desperate to make the image of the portal reappear.

Finally the Ai spins, throwing his arms in the air.

"What are you crazy?! Why did you do that?!" His hands grip the edge of his canines. "You just- you just missed your chance. Do you know what that means?"

"Your stuck here. That was it! That was your chance."

“I appreciate your cooperation in this endeavor, my wonderfully forgetful friend.” Caine beams, adding another flower to the crown on top of Kinger’s head. “Testing the physics of my adventures is a necessary part of the process. Without such tests, well, the chances of invoking disappointment are ever greater.” Another flower is lightly stuck to the chess piece. The pair of them sit in a meadow, Caine hovering just above the long grass.

The pair of floating dentures, moves back a little, admiring his handy work. His eyes dilating as a bee begins to make it's way towards the flower crown. "Oh Kinger look, look!"
