Somebody may have bought some toys and treats for the neighborhood’s alley cats with her paycheck so she’s currently in the process of dangling a small teaser toy in the air over one of them before she realizes there is a spectator among them from the sound of shoes on asphalt behind her. “Wanna try? They’re really playful right now!”

She wasn’t even going to give him time to brace himself for impact as she quickly rushed at him to pull him into a tight embrace. “Aka-chiii~!”

Now, she might feel bad for almost screeching in her excitement, but she couldn’t keep it contained as she held on tightly to him. After all, he was like a dear brother to her and she hadn’t seen him in what seemed like ages.

“I’m so glad you’re here! Have you been okay? I haven’t seen you in so long, I had gotten worried! Nii-nii has been worried, too!” Now, their worry might’ve been their fault completely. They hadn’t really been able to get out much due to the rush of a busy work life... And Ani had been trying hard to get an apartment that would have plenty of room for him and Sana. And her? She was just trying to get things stable again. Money could get really tight from time to time...
