✿ quick event plots!

hi this is wild omg my first priority is to write kana’s solo because i am EXPLODING WITH MOJO, but here are some other opportunities to fill in areas in the solo! though ofc once i write that, if you read it and see any opportunity for your muse to fit in, i’m down! also, here is kana’s bio for your convenience. i still don’t have any other pages, i know. anyway, onwards! 

FIRST OF ALL, KANA IS OUTSIDE.

TEAM DAREDEVIL: i wrote in kana’s starter for irene that in a team meeting preceding the expo, they all planned to meet in one spot if everything went to shit. THIS DEFINITELY QUALIFIES AS GOING TO SHIT. i imagine the meeting place was something like “the second pillar to the right in front of the building.” if your muse got sucked into the noose, obviously this isn’t going to apply to you as much, but if you’re outside, it might make sense for your muse to get there! it also might make sense for them to NOT BE ABLE TO. either way, whoever shows up at the meeting place is going to be how kana gauges who is inside and outside for this event, and therefore whose safety she is responsible for. if you don’t show up to the meeting spot fast enough for her, you’re on your own; sorry. (thankfully @ccxwendy is much nicer and might wait for you. who knows)

CARDS: kana still doesn’t like you (more about that here.) sorry again. however, since a killer familiar is on the loose, you are not her main priority right now and she will work with you for the sake of the universe; that’s all. if you think she’ll forget your face if she saw you transform though, you’re wrong. even if you helped in the battle against the familiar, she will probably be knocking on your door to track you down when this is all over (assuming you both survive.)

OTHER HEROES: kana has a strong willpower, so i imagine the familiar will have a great deal of fun with her. this includes making her kill replicas her parents that are already dead, her brother who disappeared following her parents’ death, and @ccjongin. she will ULTIMATELY do it without batting an eye, though her brother, sungmin, will confuse her a bit more because she doesn’t actually KNOW IF HE IS ALIVE OR DEAD. still, she’s gained a reputation for herself around the league for being BRUTAL AND TERRIFYING, largely due to the fact that her transformation changed from blonde hair and a pink and green color scheme to ENTIRELY BLACK AND RED. i imagine seeing kana kill without hesitation won’t help with this assumption. (also, any humans outside can also be terrified by this, naturally)

ANYONE: kana’s top priority, after neutralizing any immediate, workable threats, will be to get her team members she can track to safety. this means she is not going to stick around to rescue too many people, and will be bolting with all of them to get to high ground. thankfully, kana’s weapon is a WHIP, but ACTS LIKE A VINE. she can even make it grow in length and form to her will with extreme focus. this makes it a GREAT ROPE TO HELP EVERYONE TO SAFETY. the only catch is this whip is also covered in barbed-wire like thorns. nothing is ever easy, but suck it up or take the stairs or DIE, PUNK. (and also she might pass out afterwards; making her whip longer for a long period of time takes a lot of energy and by this point, she’ll already be pretty drained)

✿ headcanon ╯01╰ on cards

kana has been a magical girl for two years now, since shortly after aku began reawakening magical blood within people. during her first six months, her opinion on cards was probably that of any magical hero: they were dangerous, and needed to be captured, but often, they could work together. in her days as a spiderlily rookie, her performance was entirely average, and she didn’t succeed in capturing any cards herself for quite a while.

six months into her life as a magical girl, a card killed her parents. (thanks for that, @ccxjin) from that moment on, she entirely dedicated herself to 1. tracking down the card that killed her parents and capturing them, making them suffer for what they did, and 2. tracking down all dangerous cards and sealing them away so they could never destroy someone’s life the way they destroyed hers. this new motivation led to a quick improvement in her performance as a magical girl, and she captured her first card as soon as she recovered from the injuries she received in her failed battle with the judgment card.

since, she’s continued a quick upward climb in the ranks of magical girls, where she now rests as co-leader of daredevil. in the past year+ of fighting on team daredevil, she’s captured several cards, but working with them makes her incredibly uncomfortable, so she’s known to try to match cards up with those that can make better use of them than her, just so she doesn’t have to use them herself.

she’s never used more than two cards at once, or even held more than two cards at once, because she tends to choose to only own one at all times. even then, she’s an incredibly cold master, and has yet to form a bond with any card she’s captured, and tends to rotate which card she keeps out frequently through trading or giving them away when she has too many for her comfort, which is usually...any at all. (she’s likely traded for cards she previously owned at times too, just because she found them more useful to her at the current time than they were in the past.)

she has yet to acknowledge cards as beings capable of feeling (she doesn’t think they are) or as something to form a connection with, and if given the opportunity, would fight without one at all, and often does unless she really needs one for a battle. 

in the end, she treats cards like a distant business associate she doesn’t like, but that she knows benefits her. any card she has ownership of shouldn’t expect kindness from her, but she isn’t incredibly harsh either; she tends to just leave them alone and only call upon them when it’s really needed, and keep the talking to a minimum. (maybe, in the end, this is out of fear of her opinion on cards changing, and making her grow soft in her pursuit of vengeance.)

{ hopefully, this leaves lots of room for plots with cards! if any card muns reading this want to put their poor muse through being in kana’s possession, just im me, and we can work out details-- whether they still are in her possession or were at some time; maybe she captured you, traded you to to someone, and that magical hero died, freeing you...etc. the possibilities are endless, and if a magical hero wants to be someone that received one of the cards kana captured at some point, that’s open for plotting too! }
