☢ What fads/trends are you so over?

Indie roleplaying.

“Now hold the fuck up, Nat,” I can hear you saying right now. I can just…I can hear it. I know you’re saying it. “You ARE an indie roleplayer! You hypocritical big bag of dicks!”

A) Correct, I am a bag of dicks. But B) I just really miss a good ol’ group roleplay. DON’T GET ME WRONG: I have met and spoken with and written with some AMAZING people. Like, props to you guys, I’m glad you enjoy writing these characters as much as you do! But I can’t really concentrate or give a lot of attention to multiple muses, so being in a group with just one or two muses I’m playing was always more comfortable for me. I feel like I do better when I have a setting/plot that others are a part of. There’s a certain cohesive aspect with group rps. With indie, I never know HOW to have my character interacting with others outside their fandom. I just…am so confused and feel like people think I’m a bitch for not interacting with them. But really I’m just over here scrambling and trying to figure out HOW Character A could POSSIBLY know/talk to/interact with Character B. Some people are great at that. I am not. I always feel like I’m repeating the same boring thing and people are probably sick of it. I know I am. I’m a terrible indie roleplayer.

☢ What fads/trends are you so over?

THE TINY BOX THEMES. I have a pretty large monitor because I need it for art purposes. So when I go onto a person’s page and 85% of it is just blank dead space, and there’s this /TINY/ box crammed with font and images…I don’t know. It’s just so aesthetically displeasing to me, and really hard to read because everything is so compact. I don’t even have really bad eyesight, and it STILL gives me problems. But I guess they’re popular or something now so I’m like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯do you, I guess. I’m not cool enough for tiny box themes. I’m an old lady.

❀ What has made you completely lose your chill?

I mean…maybe you (Becks) would know a specific time since I tend to rant and vent with you, lol.I do remember losing my chill and getting supremely depressed when my group never made it off the ground. I’m still bitter. Bitter salty grandma.

❥ Has someone ever ruined an FC or character for you?

I wouldn’t say “ruined”, but I have a hard time getting over certain FC’s and characters that I have negative associations with. I try my best to remember that every writer is different and FCs are just FCs and bla bla bla. But there’s always an initial *squint* at a character/FC when they pop up.
