"Now, you all know where we are headed, and what our mission is." Murmurs of agreement floated around the table. A few of the squad looked to each other with nods. Boss continued. "Officer Regalia, while everyone has seemed to agree with my previous statement. Why don't you explain the mission parameters to us all anyway."
Regalia looked a bit nervous to be put on the spot but immediately perked up at the order. "Y-Yes sir!"
"We are headed for Gaia Nova, a planet in the system known as The Milky Way. Gaia Nova was once know as Earth." He paused to look around the table, a few seemed to be looking to others to make sure they heard him. Regalia realized he was speaking too softly. Clearing his throat he began again, louder this time.
"We are tasked with establishing a base on the surface and gathering current data on the planet to see if integration with their kind is possible."
