I’m gonna preface this headcanon by saying that Arrie absolutely ABHORS dress shopping in general. She is SO goddamn picky with her dresses because of her scars, and with the current trends of open-back dresses, finding something that fits her tastes and requirements is INCREDIBLY hard. She’s very aware of how picky she is too, and will usually refuse to go dress shopping for herself with other people because she knows how frustrating she can be - hell, she frustrates the fuck out of herself.

It’s not that Arrie doesn’t like open-back dresses. In fact, in the right mood, she WANTS to show off her scars, but the problem lies in their sensitivity. Unless she is with someone who is understanding of that, and is willing to stay by her side for the whole night and make sure she’s comfortable, she will opt out of wearing them every time. Even dresses with sheer fabric on the back will have her hesitant to wear them, but if she’s out of options, she’d rather have the sheer fabric than nothing at all.

Now, onto what her actual preferences are. First and foremost, Arrie loves showing off her legs, so she’ll usually look for either dresses with leg slits or high-low dresses that are no lower in the front than just below her knees. She is also evidently a fan of a v-neck line, despite the fact that they show her collarbones. Two-piece dresses are usually well in-line with her tastes, not only because she already loves crop tops, but also because that style of dress will more often than not offer some protection for her back. 

Ironically enough, despite the fact that they would help with her predicament, Arrie’s not the biggest fan of long-sleeved dresses , simply because she doesn’t think she looks good in them. Two of the above images show off exceptions, which are designs that are not only typically hard to find, but also expensive enough that Arrie has to REALLY want the dress to purchase it.

Last off, colour and patterning. As you can see, Arrie goes for quite the array of colours, but typically goes for a more-or-less monochromatic dress. The only more colourful dresses she’ll go for are those with floral patterns, which are either minimalist by design or are the larger floral patterns - just like floral shirts, Arrie finds dresses with smaller repetitive floral designs to be tacky. 

Arrie tends to only wear floral patterns during the spring and summer months, but in all honesty, it also depends on the occasion. Typically speaking, the more high-end an event is, the more likely she is to go for a darker, monochromatic dress.

Wajxaqib’ B’atz’ 💀

Ever seen a seven foot tall skeleton wearing a suit? Well if you partook in the Mayan New Year Party - now you have. Zico would be th least to admit his soft spot for his pantheon but, he did have one. So, when he was invited to join a new year celebration, a time he hadn’t gotten to enjoy in a long while, he was less releuctant to avoid it. Being a Mayan event, he chose to lose the meat suit he usually wore around the island in place of shaking out his bones for the celebration. Adorned in his usual head dress, his robes were replaced with a dark red suit (the most color he ever wears) with the spirit of his loyal companion Muan, on his shoulder. He’ll be easily found in the shadows away from the crowd, just enjoying the celebration in his own, grumpy way.

Summer Gala 2020

Poseidon arrives fashionably late with his beautiful date @mpairmid on his arm. As always for an event like this, gone were the gaudy board shorts and patterned shirts. He prided himself in being able to clean up quite nicely. Wanting to match with the otherworldy goddess at his side, Sei is adorned in a three piece blue and gray suit. Accented with a pair of cufflinks and a watch from his collection, as well as, black Italian Oxfords on his feet. His signature playful smile rarely leaving his lips as he enjoys the company of Airmid and many dear friends and family.

Summer Gala 2020

Hera arrives early, alongside her husband @mp-zeus - taking great care is overseeing the event. Proud of the work she and the other council members did the past few weeks arranging the event. The Queen designed her own gown as well as many suit and gowns seen at the gala. The champagne gold, chiffon dress flowed over her hips like a cloud as the same material draped off her shoulders. Her long auburn hair was curled softly, a crown from her collection pinned among the curls. She decided to look every part of a Queen as she held her husband’s arm and smiled as she admired the faces of those enjoying themselves.
