Arrie didn't know why she picked up. She usually didn't pick up numbers she didn't know, but today had been a slow day so she figured why not string another telemarketer along for some fun? The butchering of her last name was more than expected, but her mood immediately changed as the person on the other side kept talking.

The brunette didn't even give a reply, immediately hanging up and running to grab her jacket, wallet and keys. Was it really an accident? Darcy knew a lot of people... Knew her. Maybe she was reading into it too much, but who knew? All Arrie knew was that her best friend needed her.

No time to run over to the bike. The mutant cracked open the large living room window, grew a pair of wings, and barely remembered to close it behind her before barrelling toward Manhattan.

look, if i ship it on this here blog, it’s basically an otp - i’m multiverse and multiship for a reason lmao. that being said, are there ships that i show some favouritism towards, either because of how much time the ship has gotten to develop, and/or how well the muses just clicked? oh fuck yeah, absolutely. 

keep in mind, these are ships that have seen a decent amount of interactions - there’s definitely more that i do ship, but they just haven’t had the time to develop yet ripp, so if you wanna know about those ones too, feel free to send another ask! 

arrie x roman nemeth ( @huntingbounties ) : i feel like i really don’t need to explain why for this one. roman is actually one of arrie’s longest-lasting ships, which has honestly been going strong ever since the muses fucking met, i.e. 2 years ago now. arrie is also just disgustingly in love with this man, despite their recent arguments.

arrie x bucky barnes ( @therxdeemxr, tho other buckys are more than welcome to shoot their shot too ) : this ship is fucking adorable and i honestly didn’t even think about how much potential it had until bree fuckin yeeted bucky at us. i’ve been highkey obsessed with it recently, in case you couldn’t tell lmao

arrie x ben winters ( @stormscbrewing ) : how arrie has the patience for ben’s impatient ass is beyond me, but overall they have a fucking amazing dynamic and i love it... especially when there’s a lot of angst potential up ahead, hahahahaha.

arrie x ana  s'byll-breed ( @cosmicskrull ) : listen here, arrie is not a coward and will absolutely boink a hot alien. XD nah but fr, the developing plot and dynamic that’s been going on between these two is amazing, and i for one cannot wait to see more of it. 

arrie x james bond ( @tomorrowneverdiies ) : cuz arrie as a bond girl just fucking works. she might not have the exact wardrobe aesthetic that most of them have, sure, but still, they’re just so soft around each other but are also a badass couple and i just UGH, y’know?

arrie x wade wilson ( @daddypooltm, tho again, any deadpool rper is more than free to shoot their shot too ) : these two muses just clicked like i-fucking-mmediately, and i think part of it has to do with how easily arrie’s been able to pick up on and even reciprocate wade’s flirtatious nature. plus, wade was immediately 100% on board with arrie’s dietary needs, so that’s always a plus.

arrie x danny rand ( @ironimmortal, and honestly any rper who has lewis tan as their fc lmao ) : i just really like this one, okay? it has a lot of potential. i may or may not be a bit biased due to my love for lewis tan but shh, i promise it’s also cuz his character and arrie’s match up p well imo.

Arrie blinked a bit, processing what had been said. She was honestly surprised that anyone outside of Québec knew about la St-Jean, so much so that she almost glossed over the nickname... Almost. 

“Wow, Mississippi, didn’t know you kept up so well with Québécois culture,” Arrie said with a grin. “I usually just celebrate with the family up in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts with a barbecue, bonfire, and fireworks by the lake. Why, you interested in tagging along?”
