|Probably should have made this post sooner. But, meh-Here is the family tree and info about the Akiyama/Inoue families.|
Inoue family;
Kiku Inoue ( Prefers to be called Auntie Kiki/Kiki )
Age: 30
Parents: Deceased ( Father was born in Japan, Mother was born in Finland )
Career: Exotic dancer
Married to: No-one
Children: None
Though she doesn’t get to see them much ( Of their parents choose ), she enjoys being around her nephews and nieces. She doesn’t spoil them with gifts and treats. Though, she always enjoys playing with them and her siblings. Even taking the kiddos for ‘trips’ sometimes to the shops. Of course, the parents are never told about such things. After Kaoru’s death, she visited the Akiyama’s whenever she could. Checking on Iwao and the girls. She still does when the mood hits her.
She tries to not pick favorites. Though, she does lean towards Hiromi more.
Akane Shimizu ( Maiden name Akane Inoue )
Age: 42
Parents: Deceased ( Father was born in Japan, Mother was born in Finland )
Career: Stay at home mom
Married to: Shinji Shimizu
Children: She has two children. One fourteen-year-old boy and a two-year-old boy.
She never liked her family much. Her siblings, at least. She always referred to her oldest sister as a ‘Whore and a slut’ behind her back and the others got similar treatment. In return, she’s normally called ‘Prinicess’ or ‘Bitch’. Of course, all this was said behind closed doors and the children rarely heard a word of it. Though, it was clear from how little she comes around that she was some sort of disliking towards her sisters.
However, after Kaoru’s death, she did offer that Hiromi and Michiko could come live with her. Iwao turned this down, but this offer is still up in the air for the girls if they want it.
Kaoru Akiyama ( Maiden name Kaoru Inoue )
Age of death: 40
Parents: Deceased ( Father was born in Japan, Mother was born in Finland )
Career: Loan officer
Married to: Iwao Akiyama
Proud mother of two beautiful girls!..And sadly, she also had a boy. She always wanted all girls, pretty little things she could dress up and be proud of. She never wanted a boy. It wasn’t in her plan. And yet, there he was, Hotaka Akiyama. Her biggest disappointment. And what do you do with your disappoints? You hate their guts and try to ignore they ever happened! It wasn’t so horrible, after all. She had her own amount of anger she’d like to get out. And he, that little boy who smiled as soon as the word left her lips, was the perfect place to put that anger. That way, she could smile all day long.
The boy was ignored and yelled at if the desire hit. Her girls, on the other hand, were treated with ‘love’ and ‘respect’. More like she knew she could get what she wanted out of them. Hiromi was pretty and had a lovely voice. So she put her in singing lessons and dance so she’d have yet another thing to be proud of. “You can never be perfect, so you have to keep at it! Get as close as you can, baby.” She’d often say to the youngest. And when she did as she wanted, she was treated to whatever she wanted and more.
Her eldest was so smart and pretty too-! So she was placed in cram schools and whatever else money could buy. And oh how she was praised for her wonderful little brain! Well-as long as she got good grades. Everything in her delightful little world was as she wanted it to be. Except for that disgusting son. He had nothing for her to use, nothing he was good for. So as years went on, she only continued to ignore him and only used him when her anger was too high.
Ahh, maybe she should have gotten rid of him when she had the chance--
Etsuko Inoue
Age: 32
Parents: Deceased ( Father was born in Japan, Mother was born in Finland )
Career: Unknown
Married to: No-one. But she has a girlfriend she’s been going out with for years now.
Children: None
Once she turned 20, she moved out of Japan and is now living in Canada with her girlfriend. Since she moved out, she hasn’t had anything to do with her family. There are reasons for this, but she won’t say a word and her siblings come up with their own explanations for their kids. The only one she talks to every once in a while is Kiku.
She didn’t even come back after Kaoru died.
Akiyama family;
Hatsuho Akiyama
Age: 86
Career: Retired
A no-nonsense woman with a distaste for children. Even so, she took good care of her one and only son. She didn’t care much for Kaoru, nor the rest of her family. Though, out of all the little devils that came from those women, she’s alright with Michiko. She won’t be mean to any of her grandchildren. Though, don’t think she won’t yell at you if you annoy her too much.
Iwao Akiyama
Age: 43
Career: ---
Married to: Kaoru Akiyama
Like his mother, he doesn’t care much for nonsense. Which often led to fights with Kaoru when she was alive. Even if he saw what she did as ridiculous at times and told her exactly when he thought so, he still loved his wife. And the same goes for his children. In some way, he loved Hotaka too. But, as time went on and more fights happened with Kaoru. The more he grew to hate his son. The way he was, it reminded him too much of his wife. At this time, Hotaka was but a little boy. And yet, Iwao couldn’t stand to look at him. He didn’t yell at him, he didn’t hit. But he hated seeing that smile on his face. Hated that blonde hair that was the same shade of blonde his wife’s was. Everything made him think of her, everything made him hate him more. Instead of actually hating the woman who caused him grief. He hated the one who made him think of her. He pushed all that hatred on him, that way nothing would change.
His daughters, on the other hand, he treats very well. He gives them toys and gifts and love whenever he can. The man isn’t good at expressing himself emotionally and is often busy with work, so presents are the most he can do. After Kaoru died, he was heartbroken. He laid in beds for months and didn’t go to work. Nearly lost his job. He’s back to work now and all ( For the most part ) is fine. Though, if anyone were to bring up Hotaka. Even if it were his daughters. He’ll begin to yell and curse his name. Say what a good-for-nothing he was and how they should have thrown him out.
