who hogs the duvet- Lilith because she’s the Ultimate Blanket Hogwho texts/rings to check how their day is going- I’d say both of them just because they like knowing how things are goingwho’s the most creative when it comes to gifts- I’ll go with Missy on this one since she’ll just find stuff and bring it homewho gets up first in the morning- Lilith; Missy, reasonably, stays away from morning light and Lilith just isn’t a good sleeper in general so she’s awake earlywho suggests new things in bed- Missy; Lilith might occasionally, but it’d take her a bit to actually suggest it outrightwho cries at movies- Both of them, but neither of them would admit it.who gives unprompted massages- Definitely 100% Missy on this onewho fusses over the other when they’re sick- Lilith, she’s very clingy and attentive when someone she cares about is sick or injured and it can get to annoying level, but she’s just worriedwho gets jealous easiest- Missyyyyyywho has the most embarrassing taste in music- Lilith, she’s.. so weird with her music tastes.. so weird..who collects something unusual- BOTH OF THOSE LITTLE WEIRDOS! They’re both very competitive and if they’re trying to win something, they’ll stop at nothing.who starts the most arguments- Probably Missy, just to be playful. 13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?

I feel like there’s very little she tries to care about that she truly doesn’t. If there’s something she’s not worried about, it shows immediately on her face most times. If I had to pick I’d say that when she’s out you know, doing the usual Lilith things of manipulation and gaining information, she’s good at creating the aura of caring about someone that she really couldn’t give two shits about. Not so much that she’s a trustworthy person, but there’s a personality she can adopt where someone she’s targeting just wants to be around her.

They might think she cares deeply about them, but it’s usually a front she has to put up to get whatever she has to get and then go. It can be a bit scary to watch her flip through emotions so quickly, but it’s so practiced by now that she doesn’t think twice about it anymore.

4. what seemingly insignificant memories stuck with your character?

The first woman who prayed to Lilith for help had a profound impact on her. She never really expected anyone to ask for for anything genuine, but someone thought highly enough of her to ask for her guidance and she of course helped them. That person is long dead now and she hears many more prayers a day which I imagine is just sort of a low buzz in the back of her brain unless she decides to tune into them, but she does keep that memory close to her heart.

It didn’t affect her in a way where Lilith feels like she has to be a role model, but she does try to help where she can. If she has time and there’s a place where she can perhaps give a little guidance, she will because she knows how much it can help and impact a person. One of the things I would love to see in the next season is taking her new status and try to reform the church to be a tad bit more helpful and less uhm... disgustingly cruel?

8. how many friends does your character have? 9. how many friends does your character want?

So, Lilith doesn’t have very many friends. She tends to be more of a loner and it’s partially because she wants to be, but also partially out of fear. We saw in Pt.2 that Satan wasn’t too keen on letting her get close to or developing relationships with anyone that wouldn’t help serve his purposes in the end. Consequently, I think she fluctuates between wanting more friends and acknowledging that if she has a friend, she always has to keep them at a certain distance for their own safety.

A post-Pt.2 Lilith would probably find herself in a situation where, in making a friend, she’s constantly looking out for them or terrified to let them know too much about her for fear of some force coming to rip them from her life. A ways down the line once Lilith has come into herself more and reached a more comfortable place in life, she might be open to reaching out and making a friend or two. She’ll never be a person with loads of friends, hosting parties or brunches though; she’ll always be more introverted.

“I will.” How could she though? Even allowing Missy to see her like this had been so difficult... she couldn’t ever just talk about it. And Lilith could practically see the murderous intentions brewing in Missy’s eyes; that look was very specific.

“I’m okay now, really.” Lilith hadn’t looked at her face, but she felt it hurting and realistically, there was a bruise blossoming on her cheek. It wasn’t the worst she’d been though and the last thing she wanted to deal with was Missy trying to run off somewhere and find him. All she wanted was a safe hug from her girlfriend and a warm bed to fall asleep in.

She fell over so that she was laying her head in Missy’s lap, staring up at her from below. “Can we please just go lay down, I’m tired.” And Lilith truly was exhausted. She didn’t want to talk about this anymore, but she knew they would have to eventually.

Lilith so badly wanted to cry. She couldn’t let Mary take the burden of keeping her safe. Hell, she could barely keep herself safe and she wouldn’t put Mary in the middle of this. But it did feel nice to hear that she had someone who desired to keep her from harm. “But thank you, Mary...” Turning in Mary’s embrace and scooting down so that her face was pressed into the crook of her neck, Lilith let a few tears escape that would’ve honestly broken through the surface in a few short seconds anyway.

“It means so much, really it does.” Hot, shaky hands curled into the knitted fabric of Mary’s sweater, holding tight to anything she could to remind herself she was safe for the moment. “And I’m sorry for crying into your sweater.”

Lilith held Missy securely in her lap, nuzzling her nose under her chin and tracing the path of her sharp jawline. She could hold her like this forever if she had to, would do so honestly even if no one asked. Going slower meant they had time to linger and tease, to laugh with one another as they leisurely worked themselves up. Her mouth reached Missy’s earlobe and she caught it with her teeth to tug on it ever so gently before releasing it in favor of pressing a kiss to the corner of her mouth.
