“Hmm...I can see Phelan and I share a bed like that.” Alec hummed, a smile present on his lips. Ever since he came around again, he and Phelan had been traveling together and all was good. He still felt attracted to the other, more than ever probably because he had gotten over his puberty at this point in time.

“Going back to the pack he said...” It should have been so easy but he had been unable to find them. So in the meantime, he was collecting some food to get by for the time being. He didn’t have a lot of money, most coming from pickpocketting but he had to survive, would they understand? Probably not, humans were pricks anyway.

“What do you mean?” Alec kept a smile present on his face for a moment longer before it eventually started to falter. “When you left...I pulled myself back from the pack, trying hard to mature, becoming a hunter and be of proper use to the pack. That’s where I met Kasper. He was nice and said the things I wanted to hear, needed to hear at that time but that was all before the pack got attacked when I was away. I guess within me lies a monster, one that was sleeping all this time until he could come out and with the strong desire for revenge, I just snapped...”

“What are you looking at...Phelan?” Alec asked as he had closed the distance between them the moment he turned, hands tightly gripping the other’s neck. “You’re always so careful but it only took you one tap to the back to completely drop it all? If I didn’t know better, I’d think you’re a weakling. Now, go to sleep...” He squeezed the other’s throat harder for a moment but once he let go, he would jump up and kick the other against the head, across the room. “Now, stay down.”

“I don’t get it...not at all...” The upset young shapeshifter had wandered off from his pack and into the forest. An outsider should never gotten so important to him, he knew the man would leave yet it upset him far more than he expected. Eventually he’d come to an halt, sitting down against a tree and pulling up his legs to his chest.
