He told himself he wasn’t going to mess with any ‘deltarune’ timelines, Ink had threatened him last time he did that, said they were actually supposed to exist, that the ‘god’ of the original timeline had made it, meaning it wasn’t a glitch. Which, honestly? Sounded like bullshit, but Error was willing to give Ink the benefit of the doubt.
But then it never changed.
Barely any of the players touched it again, and the ‘askers’, as he liked to call them, said that they were waiting for it to be updated, waiting for it to be fixed.
Why would you ever make a game if you weren’t going to finish it.
It made him... upset, reminded him just a tad bit of Inks timeline, the fact he had been forgotten about, left behind, abandoned.
Unneeded, and had become a glitch.
That was enough for him. Error had immediately stood up from where he sat and tore open a hole in his void, ignoring the call of confusion from Darkblitz- he kept forgetting they were still tangled up in his cables...
Whatever. He stepped into the Deltarune timeline, it was kind of disgusting, how peaceful it was here, no way to commit any genocide, not even in the place where you could fight monsters.
He saw the human within a few moments of being there, and he hid up on a roof, watching them curiously for a few minutes- though boredom eventually took over. This was the pawn.
The person who had no identity past the player, the child who had been abandoned by the people that were supposed to play as and care about them. He put his hand out, and it happened in a minute, so fast he could barely make out the events.
People may have yelled for Kris to watch out, maybe event tried to shoot an attack at him or his cables, but he had the childs soul tangled up in a matter of seconds, yanking them up into the air and pulling them against him, tightening his wires around their soul until it was painful.
[*Nice ta’ meet you all! Hope you don’t mind me taking this for a few days! Enjoy li-li-- Enjoy life while it lasts!!]
And he jumped up, tearing a hole in the fabric of space and time, and back into the void he went, dragging Kris right along with him, keeping them suspended in the air by his wires and grinning cheekily up at them.
[*H-how ya doin’ buddy?]
